Intro Amazon Kindle Books
Of all the ways of Creating blog Articles, my favorite Strategy is Like learning design templates and materials, to create and sell products. I’ve discovered that it’s extraordinarily rewarding than running ads from networks such as AdSense, and products convert at a greater rate compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The service I use to facilitate this is Payhip, and in this article I will be sharing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based in my Payhip experience for a vendor for two + years. My Payhip Experience
If you wanted to market products Through your own website, you’ll need a way to facilitate transactions — some sort of infrastructure that will allow a customer to select your product, pay for it, and also have it instantaneously delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
Payhip is An that gives customers with the simplest tools and solutions for hosting and selling products straight to their clients online.
The company Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
Which are the advantages of using Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I have used a few of them in the past.
Having A stage that is so easy to use and one that does not take a huge amount of my time is of utmost significance.
Payhip will Save a lot of time because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip include –

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let us get to the information. Following my two year Payhip experience, here’s what I really like about the service…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or from credit/debit card using Stripe, plus they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or make you wait around for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the money is instantly available on your account, and if you have the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you are going to receive notifications whenever a sale happens. Amazon Kindle Books
I happen to appreciate this. The excitement of Seeing a new sale never gets old. It’s also great to awake in the morning, reach for your telephone, and see that you made X amount of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it is all easily available for you to spend. The caveat to this is Stripe. If your customers card with Stripe, there’ll be a 3 day hold before the cash is available. This is all Stripe though — Payhip does not hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Fees
Among those things that Payhip initially sold me is that there is no Monthly charges or installation charges — just a simple flat fee of 5 percent per purchase .
This was attractive to me back in 2016 Since, at the time, my readership was less than 1/10th of what it’s now, and I was not positive I was going to always sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little audience, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best fit my situation.
Easy To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an analytics page That lets you view transactions and earnings quantities relative to the day, week, month, year, or any other specified range. On top of that, it’s a report that is to-the-point and really straightforward.
If you’ve used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of data you are immediately smacked in the face with can be somewhat overwhelming, and lots of it is largely useless also. Payhip just gives you exactly what you’re there to see — sales information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another benefit users of Payhip encounter is By producing coupon codes, promotions to conduct.
The codes may be for any percentage you would Enjoy and for any (or all) products. They can run for whatever duration you want (or even permanently,) and the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I have found this to be somewhat helpful. Occasionally I’ll conduct a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook raise the post targeting a pixel audience that is re-marketing and I don’t fail to go ROI positive with it. People do respond to limited time offers. Amazon Kindle Books
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the ability Readers sign up as an affiliate of your shop, and you are able to grant, whenever someone purchases a product using their custom affiliate link.
This is useful because it allows other people To sell your merchandise for you, and if they have a platform and an audience of their own they can tap to, the commissions paid will be well worthwhile.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You’ll be, if you’re into advertising Able to readily integrate Payhip along with your preferred email advertising provider so that if a sale is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added to a chosen listing.
This is small but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a mention — if you so desire, you’ll have Payhip postage the buyer’s email address into the top left corner of every page of a PDF document they have bought.
So if someone plans to buy your PDF Book make it available for free somewhere else, they will need to be fine with their email address being publicly accessible. I believe that is a very creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Kinds of Files
Payhip is a market for ebooks — You can upload any kind of electronic file. Font files, video/audio documents, photographs, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can’t be overlooked whenever You’re selling something is your site looks. Individuals don’t trust myself included. If a site looks like it has not been updated because the net 2.0 times, then I begin to wonder if perhaps I’m in an abandoned building and putting my payment info into it would pretty much be just like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Website has a very contemporary and easy design. If you were to purchase a merchandise on the internet, this is what you would anticipate a checkout page from a company. Amazon Kindle Books
Another thing that I like about Payhip is its own Overall simplicity. In the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and just the crucial info (like price.) They do nothing to interfere with your sale — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I like about Payhip is That customer payment info isn’t stored by them, meaning that your clients’ payment details are safe. The payment is managed through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it that way because they are successful companies with lots of cash to invest on security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They do not have a program. It’d be convenient to have the ability to start an app while I am out and around, and take a look during my earnings data. You may log into the website and do this, but the site is optimized for mobile devices.
I enjoy Payhip, but that is a really Lousy appearance in 2018. There is no reason you should not have a site optimized for cellular, and when you have that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself right into it’s own app so users don’t have to manually sign in each time they want to check sales data. Users of Payhip encounter a platform when they’re on their cellular devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d really like to see an added ability to indicate Other products similar to what the customer is going to buy. If they’re purchasing a bundle of templates for $5, then I might provide a package of business card templates or propose some other product which could interest them they previously didn’t know about. This is something that websites like Amazon and VistaPrint do.
I can’t help but feel like there is a lot of money being left on the Table — for myself and Payhip — without this functionality. This could enhance the Payhip experience for both the vendor and the customer.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is frivolous, but I’d still Like to see it corrected.
Since Payhip is located in London, they have BST was place to by the timezone for the entire website. Since I’m located in the EST, I will occasionally check my analytics at 7PM or later and see that I left 0 earnings for the day because Payhip thinks it’s midnight and its information reveals that.
Again, this is a non-issue, however I Would like to observe the capability to correct the website to your own timezone. Amazon Kindle Books
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It is not quite perfect yet, although code feature earlier.
As it currently stands, the promotion You can run through a coupon code. I’d love to have the ability to offer a dollar amount from the original cost, or the capability to set a predetermined sale price.
Right Now, if I Need to put a product that is $27 Available for $10, do the math to determine what percent off will leave the cost and I have to break out the calculator. I think that is unnecessary and may be improved.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you also have access to innovative alternatives which include —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Publish sample pages or a couple of preview.
- To how many copies of eBook or your product could be, add a limitation number sold.
- Create a license key that is unique for each of your product/eBook sales.
How much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing to set up or host your products. The site takes just 5 percent commission per trade fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a seller on Payhip, would you recommend it? Total, yes. I am a satisfied customer, but whether or not you ought to use it depends on your situation.
If you’re a new blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ a month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. In case you know that you’ll be doing at least $ 1,000 in sales every month and sell a product or have a huge audience, you may want to look into something.
As of this date of the writing, Payhip functions On a flat fee of 5% of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you are going to be promoting less than $1,000 a month in total volume, the math should (in most cases) prefer Payhip. But if you’re selling into the thousands, you need to go with Gumroad or start looking into another alternative. This is largely dependent on how many transactions it takes to reach those sales numbers, however, so make sure to crunch the numbers on your own.
Personally, I love the Payhip Expertise and am very grateful for their solutions. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Amazon Kindle Books
