Intro Digital Comic Books Sell
Of all the ways of monetizing Articles that is blog, my favorite method is To create and sell products such as learning materials and layout templates. I’ve discovered that it’s extraordinarily rewarding than running ads from networks like AdSense, and products convert at a much greater speed than an affiliate product that someone else created. The support I use to ease this is Payhip, and this post I will be sharing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based on my Payhip expertise as a vendor for 2+ years. What are the benefits of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a couple of these in the past.
Having A stage that is simple to use and one that doesn’t take a massive amount of my time that is precious is of paramount importance.
Payhip will Save a lot of time too because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. Following my 2+ year Payhip expertise, here’s what I love about the service…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card with Stripe, and they do not cover monthly/weekly/quarterly or make you wait around for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the money is immediately available on your accounts, and in case you have the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you’ll get notifications whenever a sale occurs. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a brand new sale never gets older. In addition, it is good to wake up in the morning, reach to your phone, and also see you made X amount of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it’s all easily available for you to spend. The caveat to this can be Stripe. If your clients card using Stripe, there’ll be a 3 day hold until the money is available. This is Stripe though — Payhip does not hold your cash in any way.
No Monthly Charges
Among those things that Payhip originally sold me is that there’s no Monthly fees or setup charges — just a simple flat charge of 5% per sale.
This was attractive to me back in 2016 Since, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it is now, and that I wasn’t positive that I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger having a small audience, Payhip was the quickest solution that best match my scenario.
Easy To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an analytics page That enables you to view transactions and earnings quantities relative to the day, month, week, year, or some other given range. Best of all, it’s a report that is to-the-point and simple.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the amount of information you are immediately smacked in the face with can be a bit overwhelming, and lots of it’s mostly useless also. Payhip just provides you what you’re there to view — sales information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip encounter is The ability to conduct promotions.
The codes may be Like and for any (or all) products. They could run for any length you’d like (or even indefinitely,) and the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I’ve found this to be helpful. Sometimes I’ll conduct a weekend marketing, place it on Facebook, then boost the article targeting a pixel audience and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People do respond well to limited time offers. Digital Comic Books Sell
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the ability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your store, and you are able to award them a commission of whatever percent you would like, if someone buys a product with their customized affiliate link.
This is useful because it allows Men and Women To sell your merchandise the commissions paid will be worth it and if they have a stage and an audience of their own they can tap to.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You will be if you’re into marketing Able to easily incorporate Payhip along with your email advertising supplier so that if a purchase is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added to a chosen list.
That is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a reference — if you desire, you’ll have Payhip stamp the purchaser’s email address into the upper left corner of each page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone intends to Purchase Your PDF Book make it publicly accessible for free they will need to be fine with their email address being available as well. I think that is a very creative means of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Kinds of Files
Payhip is a market for ebooks — You can upload virtually any sort of file. Font files, video/audio files, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can not be overlooked whenever You’re selling something is how current your site appears. Individuals don’t trust myself included. If a website looks like it has not been updated because the web 2.0 days, I start to wonder if maybe I am in an abandoned building and placing my payment information to it’d pretty much be just like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not the case with Payhip though. The Site has a very contemporary and easy layout. In the event that you should buy a digital merchandise this is what you would expect a checkout page from a business. Digital Comic Books Sell
Another thing I like about Payhip is its own Overall simplicity. From the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your graphics, sales copy, and just the critical info (like price.) They do nothing to interfere with your sale — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I enjoy about Payhip is That they do not store customer payment information, meaning that your customers’ payment details are secure. The payment is totally managed through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it this way as they’re successful companies with a lot of money.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some things that I dislike about the ceremony and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They do not have a app. It would be convenient to be able to start an app and have a look during my data while I am out and around. You do this and may log in to the website, but the site is optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but this is a really Lousy appearance in 2018. There’s no reason you should not have a site optimized for cellular, and when you have that, you should be able to easily turn the website itself into it’s own program so users don’t need to manually register in each time they would like to inspect sales data. Users of Payhip experience a much better platform when they are on their mobile devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d like to see an Extra capability to indicate Other products similar to what the client is about to buy. If they’re purchasing a bundle of templates for $5, I might offer a package of business card templates or suggest some other product that may interest them that they previously didn’t know about. This is something that sites like Amazon and VistaPrint do.
I can not help but feel as though there’s a Great Deal of money Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no operation. This could improve the Payhip experience for both the seller and the client.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I had still Like to see it fixed.
Considering that Payhip is located in London, they’ve BST was set to by The functioning timezone for the whole website. Since I’m located in the EST, I will sometimes check my analytics at 7PM or afterwards and see that I made 0 earnings for the day since Payhip believes it’s midnight and its information reveals that.
Again, this is mostly a non-issue, but I Would love to observe that the capability to adjust the website. Digital Comic Books Sell
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the coupon It’s not quite perfect, although Code attribute earlier.
As it stands, the only promotion You’re able to run through a voucher code. Ideally, I’d like to have the ability to offer a dollar amount to set a specified sale price.
Right Now, if I want to place a product Available for $10, manually do the math to figure out what percent off will leave the final cost at $10 and I have to break out the calculator. I think this is unnecessary and could be improved.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you also have access to innovative alternatives which include —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Publish sample pages or a preview.
- Add a limitation number to the number of copies of your product or eBook could be sold.
- Create a exceptional license key .
How much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing or host your products. The website takes only 5 percent commission per trade fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2+ years as a seller on Payhip, would you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am a client, but whether you ought to use it depends on your situation.
If you’re a new blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ a month for something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. If you know you’ll be doing at least $ 1,000 in sales every month and sell a merchandise that is high-ticket or have a huge audience, you may want to look into something most cost-efficient.
As of the date of the writing, Payhip works On a set fee of 5 percent of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you are going to be promoting $1,000 a month in total quantity, the math should (typically ) favor Payhip. But if you’re selling into the thousands, you’ll probably need to decide on Gumroad or start looking into another alternative. That is all largely dependent on how many transactions it takes to achieve those sales numbers so be certain that you crunch the numbers.
Personally, I love the Payhip Experience and am grateful for their services. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Digital Comic Books Sell
