Intro Google Play Books For Free
Of all the ways of monetizing blog content, my method is Such as studying materials and layout templates, to make and sell products. I have found that it is extraordinarily more rewarding than running advertisements from networks such as AdSense, and self-made products convert at a much higher rate than an affiliate product that somebody else created. The support I use to ease this is Payhip, and in this article I’ll be sharing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based in my Payhip experience as a vendor for 2+ years. My Payhip Experience
If you have ever wanted to sell products Through your own site, you are going to want a way to facilitate transactions — some kind of infrastructure that will allow a customer to select your product, pay for it, and have it immediately delivered to them with complete hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
What is Payhip?
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that gives users with the tools and options for selling digital products to their clients and hosting online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
What are the advantages of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a couple of these previously.
For me personally, having A platform that is easy to use and one that doesn’t take a massive amount of my time that is valuable is of paramount importance.
Payhip will Save you a great deal of time too because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip comprise –
- EU VAT is cared for, and it can be a big plus in my book.
- Affordable. The site takes zero charges asides From 5% per trade when you sell a product that is digital.
- Access to analytics accounts.
- Access to marketing tools. You have the option to create Societal and Coupons discounts.
- Capability to signup, manage and reward your own affiliates.

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. After my 2 year Payhip expertise, here’s what I really like about the service…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card with Stripe, and they do not cover monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait around for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the cash is immediately available in your accounts, and in case you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you are going to get notifications each time a sale occurs. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale never gets older. In addition, it is great to wake up in the morning, reach for your phone, and see that you made X number of dollars while you were sleeping, and it is all readily available for you to spend. The caveat to this is Stripe. If your clients card using Stripe, there’ll be a 3 day hold before the cash is available. That is all Stripe though — Payhip does not hold your cash at all.
No Monthly Fees
One of the things that Payhip originally sold me is that there’s no Monthly charges or setup charges — just a simple flat charge of 5 percent per sale.
This was attractive to me back in 2016 Because, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it’s now, and that I wasn’t positive I was going to always sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a small audience, Payhip was the quickest solution that best fit my situation.
Simple To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end offers an page That enables you to see transactions and earnings quantities relative to this day, week, month, year, or some other specified range. On top of that, it’s a very simple and to-the-point report.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you’re instantly smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and a lot of it’s largely useless too. Payhip just provides you exactly what you are there to see — sales information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip encounter is Promotions to conduct by producing coupon codes.
The codes can be Like and for any (or all) products. They can run for any length you’d like (or even indefinitely,) and the code itself can even be customized to whatever string of text you desire.
I have found this to be useful. Sometimes I’ll run a weekend marketing, post it on Facebook, then boost the article targeting a pixel audience that is re-marketing and I never fail to go ROI positive by it. People do respond well to limited time offers. Google Play Books For Free
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the ability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your shop, and you can grant them a commission of whatever percent you would like, someone buys a product using their custom affiliate link.
This is useful since it allows other people To market your merchandise and should they have a platform and an audience of their own that they can tap to, the commissions paid will be well worth it.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
If you are into advertising, you’ll be Able to easily incorporate Payhip with your preferred email advertising supplier so that a sale is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added into a listing that is selected.
This is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a mention — if you desire, you’ll have Payhip stamp the purchaser’s email address into the top left corner of every page of a PDF document they’ve bought.
So if someone intends to Purchase Your PDF Book make it accessible for free somewhere else, they’ll need to be fine with their email address being accessible. I think that is a creative means of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Sorts of Files
Payhip is a market for ebooks — You can upload any sort of file. Font documents, video/audio files, photographs, software, etc..
Total Simplicity and Modern Design
One thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is how present your website appears. Individuals generally don’t trust sites that appear outdated, myself included. If a site looks like it hasn’t been updated because the web 2.0 days, I begin to wonder if perhaps I am in an abandoned construction and placing my payment information to it would pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Website has a easy and very modern design. If you were to buy a digital merchandise this is exactly what you’d expect a checkout page from a company. Google Play Books For Free
Another thing that I like about Payhip is its In general simplicity. From the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and just the critical info (like price.) They do nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Finally, what I actually enjoy about Payhip is That they do not store customer payment info, meaning your clients’ payment details are secure. The payment is handled through PayPal or Stripe, and I prefer it that way as they’re large companies with lots of cash to spend on security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some things that I dislike about the ceremony and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They do not have a program. It would be convenient to be able to start an app while I’m out and about, and take a look. The site isn’t optimized for mobile devices, although you do this and may log in to the site.
I enjoy Payhip, but this is a very Bad appearance in 2018. There is no reason you shouldn’t have a website optimized for mobile, and once you have that, you ought to be able to easily turn the website itself into it’s own program so users don’t have to manually sign in each time they would like to inspect sales information. Users of Payhip encounter a platform when they’re on their mobile devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I would like to see an ability to suggest Other products. For example, if they are buying a bundle of logo templates for $5, I propose, or could provide a bundle of business card templates for a couple of added bucks. This is something that websites like Amazon and VistaPrint do well.
I can’t help but feel as though there is a lot of money being left on the Table — for myself and Payhip — with no operation. This could improve the Payhip experience for both the vendor and the client.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I’d still Prefer to see it fixed.
Considering that Payhip is located at London, they’ve BST was set to by The functioning timezone for the website. Since I am found in the EST, I will sometimes check my stats at 7PM or later and see that I made 0 sales for the day because Payhip thinks it is midnight and its own data reflects that.
Again, this is largely a non-issue, however I Would love to observe the capability to adjust the website to your timezone. Google Play Books For Free
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It’s not quite perfect yet, although code feature earlier.
As it stands, the sole promotion You’re able to run through a voucher code. Ideally, I’d love to be able to offer a dollar amount to set a sale price that is predetermined.
Right Now, if I Need to place a product On sale for $10, manually do the math to figure out what percent off will leave the last price and I have to break out the calculator. I think that is unnecessary and may be improved.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you have access to advanced options which include —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Publish sample pages or a few preview.
- To how many copies of your product or market could be add a limit number sold.
- Generate a license key that is exceptional for each of your product/eBook sales.
How much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you or even host your products. The website takes only 5% commission per transaction fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2+ years as a seller on Payhip, do you recommend it? Total, yes. I am a client, but whether or not you should use it depends on your own situation.
If you are a new blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ per month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would absolutely recommend Payhip. But if you sell a merchandise that is high-ticket or have a huge audience and know that you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month, you might want to check into something most cost-efficient.
As of the date of the writing, Payhip functions On a flat fee of 5 percent of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you are going to be promoting $1,000 per month in total volume, the mathematics should (in most cases) favor Payhip. But if you are selling into the thousands, you’ll probably need to go with Gumroad or start looking into some choice. That is mostly dependent on how many transactions it takes to reach those sales numbers, however, so make sure that you crunch the numbers on your own.
Personally, I love the Payhip Expertise and am grateful for their solutions. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Google Play Books For Free
