Introduction How To Sell On Blogger With Paypal
Of all the ways of monetizing content that is blog, my Strategy is To create and sell digital products such as studying materials and layout templates. I’ve discovered that it’s extraordinarily profitable than running advertisements from networks such as AdSense, and self explanatory products convert at a greater speed compared to an affiliate product that somebody else created. The service I use to facilitate this is Payhip, and in this post I’ll be discussing what I like and dislike about the ceremony based on my Payhip experience as a vendor for 2+ years. My Payhip Experience
If you’ve ever wanted to sell digital products Through your own site, you’ll need a means to facilitate transactions — some kind of infrastructure that will allow a client to select your product, pay for it, and also have it immediately delivered to them with complete hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that gives users with options and the tools for promoting digital products to their customers and hosting online.
The company Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
Which are the benefits of using Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I have used a couple of them previously.
For me personally, having A platform that is easy to use and one that does not take a massive amount of my time that is valuable is of utmost importance.
Payhip will Save you a lot of time too because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip comprise –
- EU VAT is cared for, and it can be a huge plus in my book.

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let us get to the details. After my 2 year Payhip expertise, here’s what I really like about the service…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or from credit/debit card using Stripe, and they don’t pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait around for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the money is instantly available in your accounts, and in case you have the PayPal and Stripe apps installed on your mobile device, you’ll get notifications each time a sale happens. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a brand new sale never gets older. It’s also great to awake in the morning, reach to your telephone, and also see that you made X amount of dollars while you were sleeping, and it is all easily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this is Stripe. If your customers pays by card using Stripe, there will be a three day hold until the cash is available. That is all Stripe however — Payhip doesn’t hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Charges
Among the things that Payhip initially sold me on is that there is no Monthly fees or installation charges — only a simple flat fee of 5% per sale.
This was attractive to me back Since, at the moment, my readership was less than 1/10th of what it is now, and that I was not positive that I was likely to consistently sell enough product to warrant paying a monthly fee for a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little crowd, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best match my situation.
Easy To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end offers an page That lets you see trades and earnings quantities relative to the day, month, week, year, or any other specified selection. On top of that, it’s a report that is to-the-point and straightforward.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of data you’re immediately smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and a lot of it’s mostly useless also. Payhip just provides you what you’re there to see — revenue information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip experience is By creating coupon codes, promotions to conduct.
The codes can be Like and for any (or all) products. They can run for whatever length you’d like (or even permanently,) and the code itself can even be customized to whatever string of text you would like.
I have found this to be somewhat useful. Sometimes I’ll conduct a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook, then raise the article targeting a pixel re-marketing audience and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People truly do respond to limited time offers. How To Sell On Blogger With Paypal
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the ability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your shop, and someone purchases a product you can award them a commission of whatever percent you’d like.
This is useful because it allows other Men and Women To market your merchandise for you, the commissions paid will be worth it and should they have a stage and an audience of their own that they can tap to.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You’ll be, if you’re into advertising Able to easily integrate Payhip with your email marketing supplier that is chosen so that a sale is made, the purchaser’s email address could be added into a chosen listing.
That is relatively small but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a reference — if you so desire, you’ll have Payhip postage the buyer’s email address to the top left corner of each page of a PDF document they have bought.
So if someone plans to Purchase Your PDF Book then make it publicly available for free somewhere else, they will need to be okay with their private email address being publicly available. I think that is a very creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Kinds of Files
Payhip is a market for ebooks — You can upload virtually any sort of file. Font files, video/audio files, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your website looks. People don’t trust sites that look obsolete, myself included. If a site looks like it hasn’t been upgraded because the net 2.0 days, I begin to wonder if maybe I’m in an abandoned construction and putting my payment info to it’d pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Website has a very contemporary and easy layout. If you should purchase a merchandise this is what you would expect a checkout page by a trustworthy company to appear like. How To Sell On Blogger With Paypal
Another thing that I enjoy about Payhip is its In general simplicity. From the very second a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and only the crucial information (such as price.) They do nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Finally, what I enjoy about Payhip is That customer payment info isn’t stored by them, meaning your clients’ payment details are safe. The payment is handled through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it this way as they are big companies with a lot of cash.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some things that I dislike about the service and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me around Payhip is that They don’t possess a mobile program. It’d be convenient to have the ability to start an app while I’m out and around and take a look. You may log in to the website and do this, but the website is optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but this is a very Lousy appearance in 2018. There’s no reason you shouldn’t have a site optimized for mobile, and once you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself into it’s own program so users do not need to manually sign in every time they want to inspect sales data. Users of Payhip experience a platform when they’re on their mobile devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I would really like to see an ability that is added to suggest Other products similar to what the client is about to purchase. For example, if they’re buying a bundle of templates for $5, I might provide a bundle of business card templates to get a couple of added dollars, or propose some other product which could interest them they didn’t know about. This is something which sites like VistaPrint and Amazon do very well.
I can not help but feel as though there is a Great Deal of money Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no operation. This may improve the Payhip encounter for both the seller and the customer.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I Like to see it corrected.
Since Payhip is located in London, they’ve The working timezone for the site set to BST. Since I’m located in the EST, I’ll occasionally check my analytics at 7PM or later and see that I left 0 earnings for the day since Payhip believes it’s midnight and its own data reveals that.
Again, this is a non-issue, but I Would love to observe the capability to adjust the site to your timezone. How To Sell On Blogger With Paypal
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher Code feature earlier, but it is not quite perfect.
As it now stands, the sole advertising You can run through a coupon code. I’d love to have the ability to offer a dollar amount to set a specified sale price.
Right Now, if I want to put a product that is $27 Available for $10, I have to break out the calculator and do the math to determine what percentage off will render the final price at $10. I think that is unnecessary and could be made better.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you also have access to advanced options which include —
- Make your product personal.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Upload a few sample or preview pages.
- To the number of copies of your product or eBook can be, Insert a limit number sold.
- Create a unique license key for each of your product/eBook sales.
How much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing or even host your products. The website takes only 5% commission per transaction fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a seller on Payhip, do you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am very much a customer, but whether or not you should use it depends on your own situation.
If you are a blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ per month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. If you know that you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month and market a high-ticket merchandise or have a huge audience, you may want to look into something.
As of this date of this writing, Payhip functions On a flat fee of 5 percent of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you are going to be promoting less than $1,000 per month in total quantity, the mathematics should (typically ) favor Payhip. But if you are selling well into the thousands, you’ll probably need to decide on Gumroad or start looking into some alternative. That is dependent on how many transactions it takes to achieve those sales numbers though, so be certain that you crunch the numbers on your own.
Personally, I love the Payhip Expertise and am grateful for their solutions. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. How To Sell On Blogger With Paypal
