Introduction Kindle Books
Of All of the ways of Creating content, my favorite Strategy is To make and sell products like studying layout templates and materials. I have found that it’s extraordinarily rewarding than running advertisements and products convert at a significantly greater speed compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The support I use to ease this can be Payhip, and in this post I will be sharing what I like and dislike about the service based on my Payhip expertise as a seller for 2+ years. Kindle Books
My Payhip Expertise
If you wanted to market products Through your own site, you’ll want a way to facilitate trades — some kind of infrastructure that will allow a client to select your goods, pay for it, and have it immediately delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
What is Payhip?
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that provides customers with solutions and the tools for promoting electronic products to their clients and hosting online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
What are the advantages of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform differs, and I have used a few of them previously.
For me, having A stage that is so simple to use and one that doesn’t take a huge amount of my time is of paramount importance.
Payhip will Save you a lot of time too because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from utilizing Payhip include –
- EU VAT is taken care of, which can be a big plus in my book.
- Affordable. The website takes zero fees asides From 5% per trade when you sell a digital product.
- Accessibility to analytics accounts.

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. Following my two + year Payhip experience, Here Is What I love about the ceremony…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card with Stripe, plus they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or make you wait around for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the cash is instantly available on your accounts, and in case you have the PayPal and also Stripe apps installed on your mobile device, you are going to receive notifications whenever a sale happens. Kindle Books
I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale never gets older. It’s also good to wake up in the morning, reach to your telephone, and see that you made X number of dollars while you were sleeping, and it’s all readily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this can be Stripe. If your clients pays by card with Stripe, there will be a 3 day hold until the cash is available. This is all Stripe however — Payhip does not hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Fees
One of the things that Payhip initially sold me on is that there is no Monthly fees or installation charges — just a simple flat charge of 5 percent per purchase .
This was attractive to me back Since, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it’s now, and that I wasn’t positive I was going to always sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger having a small audience, Payhip was the quickest solution that best fit my scenario.
Easy To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end offers an analytics page That enables you to view trades and earnings amounts relative to the day, week, month, year, or any other specified range. On top of that, it’s a report that is simple and to-the-point.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are immediately smacked in the face can be somewhat overwhelming, and lots of it is largely useless too. Payhip just provides you what you’re there to see — sales data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another benefit users of Payhip encounter is Promotions to conduct by creating coupon codes.
The codes may be Like and for any (or all) products. They could run for whatever duration you’d like (or even indefinitely,) along with the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I’ve found this to be somewhat helpful. Sometimes I will conduct a weekend marketing, post it on Facebook boost the article targeting a pixel audience that is re-marketing and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People truly do respond well to limited time offers. Kindle Books
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the ability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your store, and someone purchases a product you can grant them a commission of whatever percentage you would like.
This is useful because it allows Men and Women To sell your products for you, and if they have a stage and an audience of their own that they can tap to, the commissions paid will be well worthwhile.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You’ll be if you are into advertising Able to readily incorporate Payhip along with your preferred email advertising provider so that a sale is made, the buyer’s email address could be added into a list.
This is relatively minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a reference — if you desire, you can have Payhip postage the buyer’s email address into the top left corner of every page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone plans to buy your PDF Book subsequently make it publicly accessible for free somewhere else, they’ll have to be fine with their email address being accessible also. I believe that’s a means of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Sorts of Files
Payhip isn’t Only a market for ebooks — You can upload any sort of digital file. Font files, video/audio files, photographs, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
One thing that can’t be overlooked whenever You’re selling something is your site looks. Individuals do not trust myself included. If a website looks like it has not been updated since the net 2.0 days, I start to wonder if maybe I’m in an abandoned construction and putting my payment information into it’d pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not the case with Payhip though. The Website has a layout that is easy and very contemporary. In the event that you were to buy a digital product this is what you would anticipate a checkout page from a trusted company to look like. Kindle Books
Another thing I like about Payhip is its Overall simplicity. In the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and just the crucial info (such as price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your sale — no.
Finally, what I actually enjoy about Payhip is That customer payment info isn’t stored by them, meaning your customers’ payment details are safe. The payment is handled through PayPal or Stripe, and I prefer it this way because they’re large companies with lots of money.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They don’t possess a program. It’d be convenient to be able to open an app while I’m out and around, and have a look. The site isn’t even optimized for mobile devices, although you do so and may log into the website.
I like Payhip, but that is a very Bad appearance in 2018. There is no reason you shouldn’t have a website optimized for cellular, and once you have that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself into it’s own program so users don’t have to manually sign in each time they want to check sales data. Users of Payhip experience a platform when they are on their devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I would really like to see an ability that is added to indicate Other products similar to what the client is going to buy. For example, if they’re purchasing a bundle of logo templates for $5, I propose, or might offer a package of business card templates to get a couple of dollars. This is something which websites like VistaPrint and Amazon do.
I can not help but feel like there is a Great Deal of money being left on the Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no functionality. This may improve the Payhip experience for both the seller and the client.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is mostly frivolous, but I Prefer to see it fixed.
Since Payhip is located in London, they have The functioning timezone for the website place to BST. Since I’m found in the EST, I will sometimes check my stats at 7PM or afterwards and see that I made 0 earnings for the day since Payhip thinks it is midnight and its information reflects that.
Again, this is a non-issue, however I Would love to see the ability to correct the website to your own timezone. Kindle Books
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It is not quite perfect yet, although code feature earlier.
As it currently stands, the sole advertising You can run through a voucher code is for a percent off. Ideally, I’d love to have the ability to offer a dollar amount to set a sale price that is predetermined.
Right Now, if I want to put a $27 merchandise On sale for $10, I must break out the calculator and manually do the math to figure out what percent off will render the last cost. I believe that is unnecessary and could be made better.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you have access to innovative options which include —
- Make your product private.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Publish a few sample or preview pages.
- To the number of copies of market or your product can be, Insert a limit amount sold.
- Generate a license key .
How much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing or host your electronic products. The website takes only 5% commission per transaction fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after two + years as a seller on Payhip, would you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am a satisfied client, but whether you ought to use it depends upon your own situation.
If you are a new blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ a month for something such as Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. However, in case you sell a product that is high-ticket or have a massive audience and know you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month, you might want to look into something most cost-efficient.
As of the date of this writing, Payhip works On a flat fee of 5 percent of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you’re going to be promoting $1,000 per month in total quantity, the math should (in most cases) prefer Payhip. But if you are selling well into the thousands, you’ll probably need to decide on Gumroad or start looking into some choice. This is dependent on the number of transactions it requires to reach those sales numbers, however, so be sure that you crunch the numbers.
Personally, I absolutely love the Payhip Experience and am really grateful for their solutions. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Kindle Books
