Introduction Libre Link
Of all the ways of Creating Articles, my Strategy is Like learning materials and design templates, to make and sell products. I’ve found that it’s extraordinarily profitable than running advertisements from networks such as AdSense, and products convert at a greater rate compared to an affiliate product that somebody else created. The service I use to ease this is Payhip, and this post I will be discussing what I like and dislike about the service based in my Payhip expertise as a vendor for two + years. Libre Link
My Payhip Expertise
If you wanted to market digital products Through your own site, you’ll want a means to facilitate transactions — some sort of infrastructure which will enable a customer to select your product, cover it, and have it immediately delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this problem.
What is Payhip?
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that gives users with the simplest tools and options for hosting and selling products straight to their customers online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
What are the benefits of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I have used a few of these previously.
For me personally, having A platform that is so simple to use and one that does not require a huge amount of my valuable time is of utmost significance.
Payhip will Save you a great deal of time because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip include –
- EU VAT is taken care of, and it is a big plus in my book.
- Affordable. The site takes zero fees asides From 5 percent per trade when you sell a product that is digital.
- Accessibility to analytics accounts.
- Access to marketing tools. You have the option to make Social and Coupons discounts.
- Capability to signup, manage and reward your own affiliates.
- Access to product sharing tools. Plus you can embed Your merchandise and Buy Now buttons on blog or your own site.

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let’s get to the details. After my 2+ year Payhip experience, Here Is What I really like about the service…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card with Stripe, and they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait for them to clean some sort of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the money is immediately available in your account, and in case you have the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you’ll receive notifications each time a sale occurs. I happen to appreciate this. The excitement of Seeing a new sale never gets old. It’s also great to awake in the morning, reach for your phone, and also see that you made X amount of dollars while you were sleeping, and it is all readily available for you to spend. The caveat to this can be Stripe. If your clients card using Stripe, there’ll be a three day hold before the cash is available. This is Stripe however — Payhip doesn’t hold your money at all.
No Monthly Fees
Among those things that Payhip originally sold me is that there is no Monthly charges or installation charges — just a simple flat fee of 5 percent per purchase .
This was attractive to me Because, at the time, my readership was less than 1/10th of what it’s now, and that I was not positive I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger having a small crowd, Payhip was the quickest solution that best fit my scenario.
Easy To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an page That lets you view trades and earnings quantities relative to the day, week, month, year, or some other specified range. Best of all, it’s a report that is simple and to-the-point.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the amount of information you are instantly smacked in the face can be somewhat overwhelming, and lots of it’s largely useless too. Payhip just provides you what you are there to view — revenue data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip experience is By creating coupon codes, promotions to conduct.
The codes may be for any percentage you’d Like and for any (or all) products. They can run for any length you want (or even permanently,) along with the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I have found this to be somewhat useful. Occasionally I will conduct a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook, then raise the article targeting a pixel audience and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People really do respond to limited time offers. Libre Link
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the capability to let your Readers register as an affiliate of your shop, and you can grant them a commission of whatever percentage you’d like, someone purchases a product with their custom affiliate link.
This is useful because it allows people To market your merchandise for you, and if they have a stage and an audience of their own that they can tap to, the commissions paid will be well worthwhile.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
If you are into marketing, you’ll be Able to integrate Payhip with your email advertising supplier that is preferred so that whenever a purchase is made, the buyer’s email address can be added to a listing.
This is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a mention — if you so desire, you’ll have Payhip postage the purchaser’s email address into the upper left corner of every page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone plans to Purchase Your PDF Publication make it available for free somewhere else, they’ll need to be okay with their email address being available also. I think that is a way of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Kinds of Files
Payhip is a marketplace for ebooks — You can upload any kind of file. Font files, video/audio files, photographs, software, etc..
Total Simplicity and Modern Design
One thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your website looks. Individuals generally don’t trust websites that appear obsolete, myself included. If a site looks like it hasn’t been upgraded because the net 2.0 times, then I start to wonder if perhaps I’m in an abandoned construction and putting my payment info into it’d pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Site has a layout that is very modern and simple. If you should buy a product on the internet, this is what you’d expect a checkout page from a business. Libre Link
Another thing I like about Payhip is its own In general simplicity. In the moment a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and only the critical info (such as price.) They do nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I actually enjoy about Payhip is That they don’t store customer payment info, meaning that your customers’ payment details are safe. The payment is totally handled through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it that way as they are big companies with a lot of cash.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They don’t have a program. It would be convenient to be able to start an app and have a look while I am out and about. The website is optimized for mobile devices, although you do so and may log into the site.
I like Payhip, but this is a very Bad appearance in 2018. There’s no reason you shouldn’t have a site optimized for mobile, and when you have that, you ought to be able to easily turn the website itself into it’s own app so users don’t have to manually sign in each time they would like to check sales information. Users of Payhip experience a platform when they’re on their devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d like to see an added ability to suggest Other products. If they’re purchasing a package of logo templates for $5, then I suggest some other product which may interest them they didn’t know about, or might offer a package of business card templates to get a couple of bucks. This is something which sites like Amazon and VistaPrint do quite well.
I can not help but feel like there’s a Great Deal of money being left on the Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no functionality. This may enhance the Payhip experience for both the vendor and the customer.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I Like to see it fixed.
Since Payhip is located in London, they have The functioning timezone for the whole website set to BST. Since I am located in the EST, I’ll sometimes check my stats at 7PM or afterwards and see that I left 0 earnings for the day because Payhip believes it is midnight and its own information reflects that.
This is a non-issue, however I Would like to see that the capability to adjust the website. Libre Link
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It’s not quite perfect yet, although code feature earlier.
As it stands, the only advertising You can run via a coupon code is for a percent off. Ideally, I’d like to have the ability to offer a dollar amount off the initial price, or the ability to set a sale price.
At the moment, if I want to put a merchandise Available for $10, manually do the math to determine what percentage off will render the final price and I have to break out the calculator. I believe that is unnecessary and could be made better.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you also have access to innovative options which include —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Upload a preview or sample pages.
- To the number of copies of your product or eBook could be Insert a limitation number sold.
- Generate a license key that is unique for each of your product/eBook revenue.
Just how much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing or even host your electronic products. The site takes only 5% commission per trade fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after two years as a vendor on Payhip, do you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am a client, but whether you should use it depends on your own situation.
If you’re a blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ per month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. But if you sell a merchandise that is high-ticket or have a massive audience and know that you’ll be doing at least $ 1,000 in sales every month, you may want to check into something most cost effective.
As of this date of the writing, Payhip functions On a set fee of 5 percent of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you are going to be promoting $1,000 per month in total volume, the mathematics should (in most cases) prefer Payhip. But if you’re selling into the thousands, you’ll probably need to go with Gumroad or look into some other alternative. That is largely dependent on how many transactions it takes to achieve those sales numbers so be certain that you crunch the numbers on your own.
Personally, I absolutely love the Payhip Expertise and am grateful for their solutions. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. Libre Link
