Introduction Payhip Books
Of All of the ways of Creating blog Articles, my Strategy is Such as learning design templates and materials to create and sell products. I’ve found that it’s extraordinarily more rewarding than running advertisements and products convert at a significantly higher rate compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The service I use to ease this is Payhip, and in this article I will be discussing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based in my Payhip experience as a seller for two + years. My Payhip Experience
If you wanted to market digital products Through your own site, you’ll want a way to facilitate transactions — some kind of infrastructure that will allow a customer to select your goods, cover it, and also have it immediately delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this problem.
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that gives customers with the easiest tools and options for hosting and selling electronic products directly to their customers online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
Which are the advantages of using Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a couple of these in the past.
Having A stage that is simple to use and one that does not require a massive amount of my time that is precious is of utmost significance.
Payhip will Save you a great deal of time too because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip comprise –

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the details. Following my 2 year Payhip experience, Here Is What I love about the ceremony…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card with Stripe, plus they do not cover monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait for them to clean some sort of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the money is instantly available in your account, and in case you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you are going to get notifications each time a sale happens. Payhip Books
I happen to appreciate this. The excitement of Seeing a sale never gets older. It’s also good to awake in the morning, reach to your phone, and see you made X amount of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it’s all readily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this can be Stripe. If your clients pays by card using Stripe, there’ll be a three day hold before the cash is available. That is Stripe though — Payhip does not hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Charges
Among those things that Payhip initially sold me is that there’s no Monthly fees or setup charges — just a simple flat fee of 5 percent per sale.
This was attractive to me Because, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it’s now, and I wasn’t positive I was going to always sell enough product to warrant paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little audience, Payhip was the quickest solution that best match my situation.
Easy To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an page That lets you see transactions and earnings amounts relative to the day, week, month, year, or any other given selection. Best of all, it is a very straightforward and to-the-point report.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are instantly smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and a lot of it’s largely useless too. Payhip just gives you what you are there to see — revenue data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip experience is The capacity to run promotions.
The codes may be Enjoy and for any (or all) products. They can run for any duration you want (or even indefinitely,) along with the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I have found this to be useful. Occasionally I will run a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook boost the article targeting a pixel re-marketing audience and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People truly do respond to limited time offers. Payhip Books
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the capability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your shop, and someone buys a product you are able to award.
This is useful since it allows other people To sell your products for you, the commissions paid will be worth it and if they have a platform and an audience of their own they can tap to.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
If you’re into email advertising, you’ll be Able to integrate Payhip along with your email advertising supplier so that a purchase is made, the email address of the purchaser can be added into a selected list.
That is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a mention — if you so desire, you’ll have Payhip postage the purchaser’s email address to the top left corner of each page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone intends to buy your PDF Book make it accessible for free somewhere else, they will need to be fine with their personal email address being accessible as well. I believe that is a means of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Sorts of Files
Payhip is a market for ebooks — You can upload any sort of digital file. Font documents, video/audio files, photographs, software, etc..
Total Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can’t be overlooked whenever You’re selling something is your site appears. People generally don’t trust myself included. If a site looks like it has not been updated because the web 2.0 days, I start to wonder if maybe I am in an abandoned building and putting my payment info to it would pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Website has a design. If you should buy a digital merchandise this is what you’d expect a checkout page by a trusted company to appear like. Payhip Books
Another thing I enjoy about Payhip is its Overall simplicity. From the very second a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and just the crucial information (like price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your sale — no.
Eventually, what I actually enjoy about Payhip is That customer payment information isn’t stored by them, meaning that your clients’ payment details are safe. The payment is handled through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it this way because they are successful companies with lots of cash.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They do not possess a mobile app. It’d be convenient to have the ability to start an app while I’m out and about, and have a look during my earnings data. The site is optimized for mobile devices, although you do this and may log into the site.
I enjoy Payhip, but this is a very Bad look in 2018. There is no reason you should not have a site optimized for cellular, and when you’ve got that, you ought to be able to easily turn the site itself right into it’s own program so users don’t need to manually register in each time they would like to inspect sales information. Permit users of Payhip encounter a better platform when they’re on their mobile devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d like to see an Extra ability to suggest Other products. If they are purchasing a bundle of logo templates for $5, I might offer a package of business card templates or propose. This is something which websites like VistaPrint and Amazon do well.
I can not help but feel as though there is a Great Deal of money Table — for myself and Payhip — with no functionality. This may improve the Payhip encounter for both the customer and the vendor.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is frivolous, but I Like to see it fixed.
Since Payhip is located at London, they have BST was place to by the working timezone for the entire website. Since I am found in the EST, I will occasionally check my analytics at 7PM or later and see that I made 0 earnings for the day because Payhip thinks it is midnight and its data reveals that.
This is mostly a non-issue, however I Would love to see the capability to correct the website. Payhip Books
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the coupon Code feature but it is not perfect.
As it currently stands, the promotion You’re able to run via a coupon code. Ideally, I’d like to be able to offer a dollar amount from the initial cost, or the ability to set a sale price that is specified.
At the moment, if I want to put a product Available for $10, I must break out the calculator and do the math to figure out what percentage off will leave the final price at $10. I believe that is unnecessary and may be made better.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you have access to innovative options including —
- Make your product private.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Upload a few sample or preview pages.
- Insert a limit amount sold.
- Create a license key that is unique for each of your product/eBook sales.
How much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing to establish or even host your digital products. The site takes just 5% commission per transaction fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a vendor on Payhip, do you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am a satisfied customer, but whether or not you ought to use it depends upon your own situation.
If you are a blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ a month for something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. If you have a massive audience or market a high-ticket merchandise and know that you’ll do at least $1,000 in sales each month, you may want to check into something most cost effective.
As of this date of this writing, Payhip works On a set fee of 5% of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you are going to be promoting $1,000 a month in total volume, the mathematics should (typically ) favor Payhip. But if you’re selling into the thousands, you are probably going to want to decide on Gumroad or look into another choice. That is all largely dependent on how many transactions it takes to achieve those sales numbers so make sure that you crunch the numbers.
Personally, I love the Payhip Expertise and am grateful for their services. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. Payhip Books
