Introduction Payhip Payout
Of all the ways of Creating blog Articles, my favorite Strategy is Like studying materials and layout templates, to create and sell products. I’ve discovered that it’s extraordinarily profitable than running advertisements and self-made products convert at a higher speed compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The support I use to facilitate this can be Payhip, and in this post I’ll be discussing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based on my Payhip experience as a seller for 2+ years. My Payhip Experience
If you have ever wanted to sell products Through your own website, you are going to need a way to facilitate transactions — some sort of infrastructure that will allow a client to select your product, cover it, and also have it instantaneously delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that gives users with solutions and the tools for hosting and promoting digital products directly to their clients online.
The company Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
Which are the benefits of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a couple of these in the past.
Having A platform that is simple to use and one that doesn’t take a massive amount of my valuable time is of utmost importance.
Payhip will Save you a lot of time because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from utilizing Payhip include –
- EU VAT is taken care of, and it can be a huge plus in my book.

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. After my two + year Payhip experience, here’s what I really like about the service…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card using Stripe, plus they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait around for them to clear some sort of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the money is instantly available in your accounts, and if you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe apps installed on your mobile device, you are going to receive notifications whenever a sale happens. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale that is new never gets old. It’s also great to awake in the morning, reach for your telephone, and see you made X number of dollars while you were sleeping, and it’s all easily available for you to spend. The caveat to this is Stripe. If your customers pays by card with Stripe, there’ll be a three day hold until the cash is available. This is Stripe however — Payhip doesn’t hold your cash at all.
No Monthly Fees
Among those things that Payhip initially sold me is that there’s no Monthly fees or setup charges — only a simple flat fee of 5 percent per sale.
This was appealing to me in 2016 Since, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it is now, and that I was not positive that I was likely to consistently sell enough product to warrant paying a monthly fee to get a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger having a small crowd, Payhip was the quickest solution that best match my situation.
Simple To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an analytics page That enables you to view trades and earnings quantities relative to this day, month, week, year, or any other specified range. Best of all, it is a report that is very simple and to-the-point.
If you have ever used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the amount of data you’re instantly smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and lots of it is largely useless also. Payhip just provides you what you are there to see — sales information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip encounter is By producing coupon codes, promotions to run.
The codes can be Enjoy and for any (or all) products. They could run for any duration you want (or even permanently,) along with the code itself may even be customized to whatever string of text you desire.
I have found this to be useful. Sometimes I will conduct a weekend marketing, place it on Facebook, then raise the post targeting a pixel re-marketing audience and I don’t fail to go ROI positive by it. People do respond to limited time offers. Payhip Payout
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the capability Readers register as an affiliate of your store, and you are able to grant someone purchases a product using their customized affiliate link.
This is useful since it allows other Men and Women To sell your products for you, the commissions paid will be well worth it and if they have a platform and an audience of their own they can tap into.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You will be if you are into marketing Able to readily incorporate Payhip with your email advertising supplier that is preferred so that a sale is made, the purchaser’s email address could be added to a list that is chosen.
That is relatively minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a reference — if you desire, you can have Payhip stamp the purchaser’s email address to the upper left corner of every page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone intends to Purchase Your PDF Publication make it accessible for free they will have to be okay with their email address being publicly accessible also. I believe that’s a really creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Kinds of Files
Payhip is not just a marketplace for ebooks — It’s possible to upload virtually any sort of file. Font documents, video/audio documents, photographs, software, etc..
Total Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is the way current your site looks. People generally do not trust sites that appear obsolete, myself included. If a website looks like it hasn’t been updated since the net 2.0 days, I begin to wonder if perhaps I’m in an abandoned construction and placing my payment information into it’d pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That is not the case with Payhip though. The Website has a layout that is very modern and easy. This is what you’d expect a checkout page from a business if you should buy a product on the internet. Payhip Payout
Another thing that I enjoy about Payhip is its own Overall simplicity. From the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your graphics, sales copy, and only the crucial information (such as price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I like about Payhip is That customer payment information isn’t stored by them, meaning your clients’ payment details are secure. The payment is handled through PayPal or Stripe, and I prefer it this way because they are successful companies with lots of cash to invest on top-shelf security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me around Payhip is that They do not have a mobile app. It would be convenient to be able to start an app while I’m out and around, and have a look. The site isn’t even optimized for mobile devices, although you may log in to the site and do this.
I enjoy Payhip, but that is a really Bad appearance in 2018. There’s no reason you should not have a website optimized for cellular, and once you have that, you ought to be able to easily turn the site itself into it’s own program so users do not need to manually sign in every time they want to inspect sales data. Permit users of Payhip experience a better platform when they are on their mobile devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d really like to see an capability to indicate Other products similar to what the client is going to buy. If they are purchasing a bundle of templates for $5, I suggest some other similar product which could interest them that they previously didn’t know about, or could provide a bundle of business card templates to get a few dollars. This is something which websites like VistaPrint and Amazon do.
I can’t help but feel like there’s a lot of money being left on the Table — for myself and Payhip — without this functionality. This could improve the Payhip encounter for both the seller and the customer.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I Like to see it corrected.
Since Payhip is located at London, they have BST was set to by the working timezone for the site. Since I am found in the EST, I will sometimes check my analytics at 7PM or afterwards and see that I left 0 earnings for the day because Payhip thinks it’s midnight and its own data reflects that.
This is a non-issue, however I Would like to observe that the ability to adjust the site to your timezone. Payhip Payout
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the coupon Code feature earlier, but it’s not perfect yet.
As it now stands, the only promotion You can run via a coupon code is for a percentage off. I’d love to be able to supply a dollar amount from the initial cost, or the capability to set a sale price that is predetermined.
Right Now, if I Need to place a merchandise Available for $10, do the math to determine what percent off would render the final cost at $10 and I have to break out the calculator. I think this is unnecessary and could be improved.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you also have access to advanced alternatives including —
- Make your product private.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Upload a few preview or sample pages.
- To the number of copies of your product or eBook could be add a limit amount sold.
- Create a license key for each of your product/eBook sales.
Just how much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing to set up or even host your electronic products. The website takes only 5 percent commission per transaction fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after two years as a vendor on Payhip, do you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am a happy client, but whether you should use it depends on your situation.
If you’re a new blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ a month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. However, in case you know you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month and sell a product that is high-ticket or have a huge audience, you might want to look into something.
As of the date of this writing, Payhip works On a set fee of 5% of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you are going to be selling less than $1,000 per month in total volume, the mathematics should (typically ) favor Payhip. But if you are selling into the thousands, you’ll probably need to decide on Gumroad or start looking into some alternative. That is all largely dependent on how many transactions it requires to achieve those sales numbers so be sure to crunch the numbers.
Personally, I love the Payhip Expertise and am really grateful for their services. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Payhip Payout
