Introduction Payhip Publish Product
Of All of the ways of Creating blog content, my method is To make and sell products such as learning materials and design templates. I have found that it’s extraordinarily profitable than running ads from networks such as AdSense, and products convert at a higher speed compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The support I use to facilitate this can be Payhip, and this article I’ll be discussing what I both like and dislike about the service based in my Payhip experience for a vendor for 2+ years. My Payhip Experience
If you wanted to sell products Through your own website, you are going to need a way to facilitate transactions — some kind of infrastructure which will enable a customer to select your product, cover it, and have it immediately delivered to them with complete hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
What is Payhip?
Payhip is An that provides users with options and the simplest tools for promoting electronic products to their customers and hosting online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
Which are the benefits of using Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a few of these in the past.
For me personally, having A stage that is simple to use and one that doesn’t require a huge amount of my time is of utmost significance.
Payhip will Save you a great deal of time because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from utilizing Payhip include –

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. Following my two year Payhip experience, here’s what I love about the service…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or from credit/debit card using Stripe, plus they don’t pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or make you wait for them to clear some kind of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the money is immediately available on your account, and if you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you are going to get notifications whenever a sale occurs. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale never gets old. It’s also good to awake in the morning, reach for your phone, and also see that you made X number of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it is all easily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this is Stripe. If your customers card using Stripe, there will be a 3 day hold until the money is available. That is all Stripe though — Payhip doesn’t hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Charges
Among those things that Payhip initially sold me on is that there is no Monthly charges or installation charges — only a simple flat charge of 5% per purchase .
This was attractive to me in 2016 Since, at the time, my readership was 1/10th of what it is now, and that I wasn’t positive that I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little crowd, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best match my situation.
Simple To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an page That lets you view transactions and earnings amounts relative to the day, month, week, year, or some other specified range. Best of all, it’s a report that is very straightforward and to-the-point.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are immediately smacked in the face with can be a bit overwhelming, and lots of it is largely useless also. Payhip just gives you exactly what you are there to view — sales data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another benefit users of Payhip experience is By creating coupon codes promotions to run.
The codes may be for almost any percentage you would Enjoy and for any (or all) products. They could run for any duration you want (or even permanently,) along with the code itself can even be customized to whatever string of text you desire.
I’ve found this to be helpful. Occasionally I will conduct a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook boost the article targeting a pixel re-marketing audience and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People truly do respond well to limited time offers. Payhip Publish Product
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the ability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your store, and you can grant them a commission of whatever percent you’d like someone buys a product with their custom affiliate link.
This is useful since it allows Men and Women To market your merchandise for you, the commissions paid will be well worth it and should they have an audience of their own and a platform they can tap into.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You’ll be if you’re into email marketing Able to integrate Payhip along with your email marketing provider that is preferred so that whenever a sale is made, the email address of the purchaser can be added into a listing that is selected.
That is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a mention — if you desire, you can have Payhip stamp the buyer’s email address to the upper left corner of each page of a PDF document they have purchased.
So if someone plans to Purchase Your PDF Book then make it publicly accessible for free they will have to be okay with their email address being available also. I think that’s a way of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Kinds of Files
Payhip is not just a marketplace for ebooks — You can upload any sort of file. Font files, video/audio files, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can’t be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your website looks. Individuals generally do not trust websites which look outdated, myself included. If a website looks like it has not been updated since the web 2.0 times, then I start to wonder if maybe I am in an abandoned building and putting my payment information to it’d pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not the case with Payhip though. The Website has a layout that is very modern and simple. In the event that you should buy a product this is exactly what you’d expect a checkout page from a company to appear like. Payhip Publish Product
Another thing I enjoy about Payhip is its In general simplicity. In the moment a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your graphics, sales copy, and just the crucial info (like price.) They do nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I actually enjoy about Payhip is That customer payment information isn’t stored by them, meaning that your clients’ payment details are safe. The payment is totally managed through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it this way because they’re large, successful companies with a lot of cash to spend on top-shelf security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the ceremony and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me around Payhip is that They don’t have a app. It’d be convenient to be able to start an app while I am out and around, and have a look through my earnings data. You do this and can log in to the website, but the website isn’t even optimized for mobile devices.
I enjoy Payhip, but that is a really Bad look in 2018. There is no reason you shouldn’t have a site optimized for mobile, and once you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the website itself right into it’s own program so users don’t have to manually register in every time they want to inspect sales data. Users of Payhip encounter a platform when they are on their devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d like to see an Extra capability to suggest Other products. For example, if they’re buying a package of logo templates for $5, I suggest some other similar product that could interest them that they previously didn’t know about, or might offer a bundle of business card templates to get a couple of dollars. This is something that sites like Amazon and VistaPrint do.
I can’t help but feel as though there is a Great Deal of money Table — for myself and Payhip — without this functionality. This may enhance the Payhip encounter for both the client and the vendor.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I Prefer to see it fixed.
Considering that Payhip is located at London, they’ve The functioning timezone for the website set to BST. Since I’m found in the EST, I will sometimes check my analytics at 7PM or afterwards and see that I made 0 earnings for the day since Payhip thinks it’s midnight and its own information reveals that.
Again, this is largely a non-issue, but I Would love to see that the ability to correct the site to your timezone. Payhip Publish Product
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It’s not quite perfect yet, although Code attribute earlier.
As it stands, the only promotion You can run through a voucher code. I’d like to be able to supply a dollar amount to set a sale price that is specified.
Right Now, if I Need to put a $27 merchandise On sale for $10, I have to break out the calculator and manually do the math to determine what percent off would render the cost at $10. I think that is unnecessary and could be improved.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you have access to innovative alternatives which include —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Upload a few sample or preview pages.
- Insert a limit amount sold.
- Generate a license key that is unique for all your product/eBook sales.
How much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you or even host your digital products. The site takes only 5 percent commission per transaction fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a vendor on Payhip, do you recommend it? Total, yes. I am a client, but whether you should use it depends upon your own situation.
If you are a blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ per month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. However, if you market a merchandise that is high-ticket or have a massive audience and know that you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales every month, you may want to check into something.
As of this date of this writing, Payhip functions On a flat fee of 5% of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you’re going to be selling $1,000 per month in total volume, the mathematics should (typically ) prefer Payhip. But if you’re selling into the thousands, you are probably going to need to go with Gumroad or start looking into some choice. That is all largely dependent on the number of transactions it requires to achieve those sales numbers so make sure to crunch the numbers.
Personally, I absolutely love the Payhip Expertise and am grateful for their services. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Payhip Publish Product
