Intro Payhip Tutorial
Of all the ways of Creating Articles, my favorite method is Like learning design templates and materials, to create and sell products. I’ve found that it is extraordinarily profitable than running ads from networks like AdSense, and products convert at a greater rate than an affiliate product that somebody else created. The support I use to facilitate this is Payhip, and in this post I’ll be sharing what I like and dislike about the ceremony based in my Payhip experience for a seller for 2+ years. Payhip Tutorial
My Payhip Experience
If you wanted to sell products Through your own site, you’ll want a way to facilitate transactions — some sort of infrastructure that will allow a client to select your goods, pay for it, and also have it instantaneously delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
What is Payhip?
Payhip is An that provides customers with solutions and the tools for hosting and promoting products directly to their customers online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
What are the advantages of using Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I have used a few of these in the past.
For me personally, having A stage that is easy to use and one that doesn’t require a massive amount of my time is of utmost significance.
Payhip will Save you a lot of time also because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from utilizing Payhip comprise –
- EU VAT is taken care of, and it is a huge plus in my book.
- Affordable. The website takes zero fees asides From 5% per trade when you sell a item.
- Access to analytics accounts.
- Access to advertising tools. You have the option to create Coupons and social discounts.
- Capability to signup, handle and reward your affiliates.
- Access to merchandise sharing tools. Plus you can embed Buy and your merchandise Now buttons on blog or your site.
- The Capacity to set mailing lists so that your clients can Subscribe and remain current with your products, and much more.

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let us get to the information. After my 2+ year Payhip expertise, here’s what I love about the ceremony…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or from credit/debit card using Stripe, and they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait around for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the cash is instantly available in your accounts, and in case you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you are going to get notifications each time a sale happens. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale that is new never gets older. In addition, it is great to awake in the morning, reach to your phone, and also see you made X number of dollars while you were sleeping, and it’s all easily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this can be Stripe. If your clients pays by card with Stripe, there’ll be a three day hold before the money is available. That is Stripe though — Payhip doesn’t hold your cash in any way.
No Monthly Charges
One of the things that Payhip originally sold me on is that there is no Monthly charges or installation charges — only a simple flat fee of 5% per sale.
This was appealing to me in 2016 Since, at the time, my readership was less than 1/10th of what it is now, and I was not positive that I was likely to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger having a small crowd, Payhip was the quickest solution that best match my scenario.
Easy To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an analytics page That lets you see transactions and earnings quantities relative to this day, week, month, year, or any other given selection. On top of that, it’s a report.
If you’ve used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are immediately smacked in the face can be somewhat overwhelming, and a lot of it’s mostly useless too. Payhip just gives you what you’re there to view — revenue information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip experience is Promotions to run by creating coupon codes.
The codes may be Like and for any (or all) products. They could run for whatever length you’d like (or even indefinitely,) and the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I have found this to be useful. Occasionally I’ll run a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook boost the article targeting a pixel audience and I don’t fail to go ROI positive by it. People do respond to limited time offers. Payhip Tutorial
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the ability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your store, and you can award, someone buys a product using their customized affiliate link.
This is useful since it allows other Men and Women To sell your products for you, the commissions paid will be worth it and if they have a platform and an audience of their own that they can tap into.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You’ll be, if you’re into email advertising Able to integrate Payhip with your chosen email marketing supplier so that a purchase is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added into a list that is chosen.
This is relatively minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a reference — if you desire, you can have Payhip postage the purchaser’s email address to the top left corner of every page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone intends to buy your PDF Book subsequently make it publicly accessible for free they’ll need to be fine with their email address being publicly accessible also. I think that is a very creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Sorts of Files
Payhip is a marketplace for ebooks — You can upload virtually any kind of file. Font files, video/audio documents, photographs, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can’t be overlooked whenever You’re selling something is how current your website appears. People generally do not trust myself included. If a site looks like it has not been updated since the net 2.0 days, I begin to wonder if perhaps I’m in an abandoned construction and placing my payment info into it’d pretty much be just like throwing my money into a black hole.
That is not true with Payhip though. The Website has a easy and very contemporary design. If you were to buy a digital merchandise on the internet, this is what you’d expect a checkout page from a trusted company to appear like. Payhip Tutorial
Another thing I like about Payhip is its Overall simplicity. From the second a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and only the critical info (like price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I enjoy about Payhip is That they do not store customer payment info, meaning your clients’ payment details are secure. The payment is completely managed through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it that way because they’re big, successful companies with lots of money.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the ceremony and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They don’t have a mobile app. It’d be convenient to be able to start an app while I’m out and about, and have a look during my earnings data. You can log in to the site and do so, but the site isn’t even optimized for mobile devices.
I enjoy Payhip, but this is a very Lousy look in 2018. There’s no reason you shouldn’t have a site optimized for mobile, and once you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the website itself right into it’s own program so users do not need to manually sign in each time they want to inspect sales information. Users of Payhip encounter a platform when they’re on their cellular devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d like to see an ability that is Extra to indicate Other products similar to what the customer is going to purchase. For instance, if they are purchasing a bundle of templates for $5, then I suggest, or might offer a bundle of business card templates for a few dollars. This is something which websites like VistaPrint and Amazon do.
I can’t help but feel like there is a Great Deal of money being left on the Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no functionality. This could improve the Payhip encounter for both the seller and the customer.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is frivolous, but I’d still Like to see it corrected.
Since Payhip is located at London, they’ve BST was set to by the working timezone for the site. Since I am located in the EST, I’ll occasionally check my stats at 7PM or later and see that I made 0 sales for the day since Payhip thinks it’s midnight and its data reflects that.
Again, this is a non-issue, but I Would like to see that the capability to correct the website. Payhip Tutorial
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the coupon It’s not quite perfect just yet, although Code attribute earlier.
As it currently stands, the promotion You’re able to run through a voucher code. Ideally, I’d love to be able to offer a dollar amount to set a sale price that is specified.
At the moment, if I Need to put a $27 merchandise Available for $10, I have to break out the calculator and do the math to figure out what percentage off would leave the last cost at $10. I think that is unnecessary and could be improved.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you also have access to advanced alternatives including —
- Make your product personal.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Upload sample pages or a preview.
- To how many copies of your product or eBook can be, Insert a limitation amount sold.
- Generate a license key that is unique .
How much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing to establish or even host your digital products. The website takes just 5 percent commission per trade fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a vendor on Payhip, do you recommend it? Total, yes. I am a satisfied customer, but whether you ought to use it depends on your situation.
If you’re a blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ per month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. If you know that you’ll be doing at least $ 1,000 in sales every month and market a high-ticket product or have a massive audience, you may want to check into something.
As of the date of the writing, Payhip functions On a flat fee of 5% of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you’re going to be selling $1,000 per month in total quantity, the math should (in most cases) favor Payhip. But if you are selling well into the thousands, you’ll probably need to go with Gumroad or look into some alternative. That is mostly dependent on the number of transactions it requires to reach those sales numbers so make certain to crunch the numbers.
Personally, I absolutely love the Payhip Experience and am very grateful for their services. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. Payhip Tutorial
