Background Products I Can Sell
Of all the ways of Creating content that is blog, my favorite method is Such as studying layout templates and materials, to create and sell electronic products. I’ve found that it’s extraordinarily profitable than running ads and self-made products convert at a significantly higher speed compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The service I use to ease this is Payhip, and this article I’ll be discussing what I like and dislike about the service based on my Payhip experience for a vendor for two + years. Products I Can Sell
My Payhip Experience
If you wanted to sell digital products Through your own site, you’ll need a way to facilitate trades — some sort of infrastructure which will enable a customer to select your product, cover it, and also have it instantaneously delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this problem.
Payhip is An that provides customers with the easiest tools and options for promoting electronic products to their customers and hosting online.
The company Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
Which are the benefits of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I have used a couple of these previously.
For me, having A platform that is so simple to use and one that does not take a massive amount of my time that is valuable is of paramount importance.
Payhip will Save a great deal of time too because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from utilizing Payhip include –

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let’s get to the details. Following my 2+ year Payhip experience, here’s what I really like about the service…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or from credit/debit card using Stripe, and they do not cover monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the money is instantly available on your account, and in case you’ve got the PayPal and Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you’ll get notifications whenever a sale happens. Products I Can Sell
I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a new sale never gets older. It’s also good to wake up in the morning, reach for your telephone, and also see you made X number of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it’s all readily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this can be Stripe. If your clients card with Stripe, there’ll be a three day hold until the money is available. This is Stripe though — Payhip does not hold your cash in any way.
No Monthly Charges
One of those things that Payhip initially sold me on is that there is no Monthly fees or setup charges — just a simple flat fee of 5 percent per sale.
This was appealing to me Since, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it is now, and that I was not positive that I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little audience, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best fit my situation.
Easy To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an analytics page That lets you see transactions and earnings amounts relative to this day, month, week, year, or any other given selection. Best of all, it’s a report.
If you’ve ever used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are immediately smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and lots of it’s mostly useless also. Payhip just gives you what you are there to view — sales data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another benefit users of Payhip experience is By creating coupon codes promotions to run.
The codes can be Enjoy and for any (or all) products. They could run for any length you want (or even permanently,) along with the code itself can even be customized to whatever series of text you would like.
I’ve found this to be useful. Sometimes I’ll conduct a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook raise the post targeting a pixel audience and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People do respond to limited time offers. Products I Can Sell
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the capability to let your Readers register as an affiliate of your shop, and someone purchases a product using their customized affiliate link, you can grant.
This is useful since it allows Men and Women To sell your products for you, and should they have a stage and an audience of their own they can tap into, the commissions paid will be well worth it.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You’ll be if you’re into advertising Able to readily incorporate Payhip along with your email advertising supplier that is chosen so that if a sale is made, the email address of the purchaser can be added into a list that is selected.
That is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a mention — if you desire, you can have Payhip stamp the purchaser’s email address to the upper left corner of each page of a PDF document they’ve bought.
So if someone plans to Purchase Your PDF Publication make it available for free they will have to be fine with their email address being publicly available also. I think that is a creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Kinds of Files
Payhip isn’t just a marketplace for ebooks — It’s possible to upload virtually any sort of file. Font documents, video/audio documents, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
One thing that can’t be overlooked whenever You’re selling something is your site appears. People generally don’t trust myself included. If a website looks like it has not been upgraded since the web 2.0 times, then I begin to wonder if perhaps I am in an abandoned building and placing my payment information to it would pretty much be just like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Website has a design. If you were to buy a product on the world wide web, this is exactly what you would expect a checkout page from a trusted business to appear like. Products I Can Sell
Another thing I like about Payhip is its own Overall simplicity. In the second a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your graphics, sales copy, and only the critical info (like price.) They do nothing to interfere with your purchase — no.
Finally, what I enjoy about Payhip is That customer payment information isn’t stored by them, meaning your customers’ payment details are safe. The payment is managed through PayPal or Stripe, and I prefer it that way as they are successful companies with lots of money to spend on top-shelf security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some things that I dislike about the service and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They don’t possess a program. It’d be convenient to be able to start an app and have a look through my data while I am out and about. You do so and may log in to the website, but the site is optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but that is a really Bad look in 2018. There’s no reason you should not have a site optimized for mobile, and when you have that, you ought to be able to easily turn the website itself into it’s own app so users do not have to manually register in each time they would like to check sales data. Let users of Payhip encounter a platform when they are on their devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I would really like to see an capability that is added to indicate Other products similar to what the client is about to buy. For instance, if they are purchasing a bundle of logo templates for $5, then I suggest some other product that may interest them they didn’t know about, or could provide a package of business card templates to get a couple of added dollars. This is something which sites like VistaPrint and Amazon do.
I can’t help but feel as though there is a Great Deal of money being left on the Table — for myself and Payhip — without this functionality. This could improve the Payhip encounter for both the customer and the seller.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is mostly frivolous, but I’d still Prefer to see it fixed.
Since Payhip is located at London, they have The working timezone for the site set to BST. Since I am found in the EST, I’ll sometimes check my analytics at 7PM or afterwards and see that I made 0 earnings for the day because Payhip believes it’s midnight and its information reveals that.
This is a non-issue, but I Would like to see that the ability to adjust the website to your own timezone. Products I Can Sell
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It’s not quite perfect, although code feature earlier.
As it now stands, the advertising You can run via a coupon code is for a percentage off. I’d love to be able to offer a dollar amount off the initial cost, or the ability to set a sale price.
Right Now, if I want to place a product that is $27 On sale for $10, manually do the math to determine what percentage off will leave the last price and I have to break out the calculator. I think that is unnecessary and may be made better.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you have access to innovative options including —
- Make your merchandise personal.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Publish a few preview or sample pages.
- To how many copies of market or your product can be Insert a limitation number sold.
- Generate a license key for each of your product/eBook sales.
How much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing or host your digital products. The website takes only 5 percent commission per transaction fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a seller on Payhip, do you recommend it? Total, yes. I am very much a satisfied client, but whether or not you should use it depends upon your own situation.
If you are a new blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ per month for something such as Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. However, if you market a merchandise that is high-ticket or have a massive audience and know you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales every month, you might want to check into something most cost-efficient.
As of the date of the writing, Payhip works On a flat fee of 5% of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you are going to be selling $1,000 a month in total volume, the mathematics should (in most cases) favor Payhip. But if you’re selling well into the thousands, you are probably going to need to decide on Gumroad or look into another choice. This is mostly dependent on the number of transactions it requires to achieve those sales numbers so be sure that you crunch the numbers.
Personally, I love the Payhip Expertise and am thankful for their services. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Products I Can Sell
