Intro Repl Payment Collection System
Of All of the ways of Creating Articles that is blog, my favorite method is To create and sell products. I have found that it is extraordinarily more profitable than running ads and products convert at a higher rate compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The service I use to ease this can be Payhip, and this post I will be discussing what I both like and dislike about the service based on my Payhip expertise as a vendor for two + years. My Payhip Expertise
If you have ever wanted to sell digital products Through your own website, you’ll want a means to facilitate trades — some kind of infrastructure which will enable a client to select your product, pay for it, and also have it instantaneously delivered to them with complete hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that provides users with options and the tools for hosting and promoting products to their clients online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
What are the benefits of using Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a few of these in the past.
For me personally, having A platform that is simple to use and one that does not require a huge amount of my time is of utmost importance.
Payhip will Save a lot of time too because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Advantages that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip comprise –
- EU VAT is cared for, which can be a big plus in my book.
- Affordable. The site takes zero charges asides From 5 percent per transaction when you sell a product that is digital.
- Accessibility to analytics reports.
- Access to marketing tools. You have the option to create Societal and Coupons discounts.
- Ability to signup, manage and reward your affiliates.
- Access to merchandise sharing tools. Plus it is possible to embed Your product and purchase Now buttons on your site or blog.

What I Like About Payhip
Let us get to the information. Following my 2 year Payhip experience, Here Is What I love about the ceremony…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card with Stripe, and they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or make you wait for them to clean some kind of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the money is instantly available on your accounts, and if you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe apps installed on your mobile device, you’ll get notifications each time a sale occurs. I happen to appreciate this. The excitement of Seeing a new sale never gets older. In addition, it is good to awake in the morning, reach for your telephone, and see that you made X number of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it is all readily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this is Stripe. If your clients pays by card with Stripe, there’ll be a 3 day hold until the money is available. This is all Stripe though — Payhip does not hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Fees
One of those things that Payhip originally sold me is that there is no Monthly fees or setup charges — just a simple flat fee of 5 percent per sale.
This was appealing to me back Since, at the moment, my readership was less than 1/10th of what it’s now, and that I wasn’t positive that I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little crowd, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best fit my situation.
Easy To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an page That enables you to view transactions and earnings amounts relative to the day, week, month, year, or some other given range. On top of that, it is a report that is simple and to-the-point.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of data you’re immediately smacked in the face with can be a bit overwhelming, and lots of it’s largely useless too. Payhip just provides you what you are there to see — revenue data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another benefit users of Payhip experience is By creating coupon codes, promotions to run.
The codes can be Like and for any (or all) products. They could run for any duration you want (or even permanently,) and the code itself may even be customized to whatever series of text you desire.
I’ve found this to be helpful. Occasionally I will conduct a weekend marketing, place it on Facebook, then raise the post targeting a pixel audience that is re-marketing and I never fail to go ROI positive with it. People do respond to limited time offers. Repl Payment Collection System
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the ability to let your Readers register as an affiliate of your store, and if someone purchases a product you are able to grant them a commission of whatever percentage you would like.
This is useful because it allows other Men and Women To sell your products the commissions paid will be well worth it and if they have a stage and an audience of their own they can tap into.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
If you are into email advertising, you will be Able to incorporate Payhip with your email marketing supplier that is chosen so that a sale is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added into a selected listing.
That is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a mention — if you so desire, you can have Payhip postage the buyer’s email address into the top left corner of each page of a PDF document they have purchased.
So if someone plans to buy your PDF Book make it accessible for free they’ll have to be fine with their personal email address being accessible also. I think that is a way of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Sorts of Files
Payhip is not just a marketplace for ebooks — You can upload just about any kind of file. Font files, video/audio documents, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your site looks. People don’t trust myself included. If a site looks like it hasn’t been updated since the web 2.0 times, then I begin to wonder if maybe I’m in an abandoned construction and placing my payment info into it would pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not true with Payhip though. The Site has a layout. This is what you would expect a checkout page by a trustworthy business to look like, if you should buy a digital product on the internet. Repl Payment Collection System
Another thing that I enjoy about Payhip is its own In general simplicity. In the second a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and just the crucial information (like price.) They do nothing to interfere with your purchase — no.
Eventually, what I really like about Payhip is That they don’t store customer payment information, meaning that your customers’ payment details are safe. The payment is managed through PayPal or Stripe, and I prefer it that way as they are successful companies with a lot of cash to spend on top-shelf security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They do not have a mobile program. It would be convenient to have the ability to start an app and take a look while I’m out and around. You do this and may log in to the website, but the website isn’t even optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but that is a really Lousy look in 2018. There’s no reason you should not have a website optimized for cellular, and once you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself into it’s own app so users do not have to manually sign in every time they would like to inspect sales information. Users of Payhip encounter a better platform when they’re on their devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I’d really like to see an ability to indicate Other products similar to what the customer is going to purchase. If they’re buying a bundle of logo templates for $5, I suggest, or could offer a package of business card templates for a couple of added bucks. This is something which websites like Amazon and VistaPrint do very well.
I can’t help but feel as though there is a lot of money Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no operation. This may enhance the Payhip encounter for both the customer and the seller.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is mostly frivolous, but I’d still Like to see it fixed.
Considering that Payhip is located in London, they have BST was place to by the working timezone for the whole site. Since I am found in the EST, I’ll sometimes check my analytics at 7PM or later and see that I made 0 sales for the day because Payhip thinks it is midnight and its information reflects that.
Again, this is a non-issue, but I Would love to see the capability to adjust the website to your own timezone. Repl Payment Collection System
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher Code feature earlier, but it’s not quite perfect yet.
As it currently stands, the advertising You can run through a voucher code. Ideally, I’d love to be able to supply a dollar amount to set a sale price that is predetermined.
Right Now, if I want to put a product that is $27 On sale for $10, do the math to figure out what percentage off will render the price and I must break out the calculator. I believe that is unnecessary and may be made better.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you also have access to advanced alternatives which include —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Upload a preview or sample pages.
- To how many copies of eBook or your product can be Insert a limit number sold.
- Generate a license key that is unique for each of your product/eBook sales.
How much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you or even host your digital products. The site takes only 5 percent commission per trade fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2+ years as a vendor on Payhip, would you recommend it? Total, yes. I am a client, but whether you ought to use it depends on your situation.
If you are a blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ a month for something such as Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. But in case you market a product that is high-ticket or have a massive audience and know you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month, you might want to check into something.
As of this date of the writing, Payhip works On a flat fee of 5 percent of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you are going to be selling less than $1,000 per month in total quantity, the mathematics should (in most cases) prefer Payhip. But if you’re selling into the thousands, you want to go with Gumroad or look into another choice. That is all dependent on the number of transactions it takes to reach those sales numbers, however, so be sure that you crunch the numbers for yourself.
Personally, I love the Payhip Experience and am really grateful for their services. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Repl Payment Collection System
