Introduction Reselling Digital Music
Of All of the ways of Creating Articles, my Strategy is Like studying materials and layout templates, to create and sell products. I have discovered that it’s extraordinarily rewarding than running ads from networks like AdSense, and products convert at a much greater rate than an affiliate product that someone else created. The support I use to facilitate this can be Payhip, and in this post I will be sharing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based on my Payhip expertise as a seller for two + years. My Payhip Expertise
If you wanted to market digital products Through your own website, you’ll want a means to facilitate trades — some kind of infrastructure which will enable a customer to select your product, pay for it, and also have it immediately delivered to them with complete hands-off automation. Payhip solves this problem.
What is Payhip?
Payhip is An that provides users with the tools and options for hosting and promoting products to their clients online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
What are the advantages of using Payhip?
Each online Platform differs, and I have used a couple of them previously.
For me, having A stage that is simple to use and one that doesn’t take a massive amount of my valuable time is of paramount importance.
Payhip will Save a great deal of time also because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from utilizing Payhip comprise –
- EU VAT is cared for, and it is a big plus in my book.
- Affordable. The website takes zero charges asides From 5 percent per trade when you sell a digital item.
- Accessibility to analytics reports.
- Access to advertising tools. You have the option to create Societal and coupons discounts.
- Capability to signup, manage and reward your own affiliates.
- Access to product sharing tools. Plus you can embed Buy and your product Now buttons on your site or blog.
- The ability to setup mailing lists so that your clients can Subscribe and stay current with your electronic goods, and much more.

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. After my 2 year Payhip experience, here’s what I love about the ceremony…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or from credit/debit card with Stripe, plus they don’t pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait for them to clear some kind of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the money is instantly available on your account, and in case you have the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you’ll receive notifications each time a sale occurs. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale never gets older. It’s also good to wake up in the morning, reach to your phone, and see you made X amount of dollars while you were sleeping, and it’s all readily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this can be Stripe. If your customers pays by card using Stripe, there will be a 3 day hold before the cash is available. That is Stripe however — Payhip does not hold your cash in any way.
No Monthly Fees
One of the things that Payhip initially sold me on is that there’s no Monthly charges or setup charges — just a simple flat fee of 5% per purchase .
This was appealing to me back Because, at the time, my readership was 1/10th of what it’s now, and that I wasn’t positive that I was going to always sell enough product to warrant paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little crowd, Payhip was the quickest solution that best fit my situation.
Simple To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an page That lets you see trades and earnings quantities relative to the day, month, week, year, or any other given range. Best of all, it’s a really simple and to-the-point report.
If you’ve used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of data you are immediately smacked in the face can be somewhat overwhelming, and lots of it’s largely useless also. Payhip just gives you what you are there to see — sales information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another benefit users of Payhip encounter is Promotions to run by producing coupon codes.
The codes can be Like and for any (or all) products. They can run for whatever length you want (or even indefinitely,) and the code itself may even be customized to whatever series of text you desire.
I’ve found this to be useful. Occasionally I’ll run a weekend marketing, place it on Facebook boost the article targeting a pixel audience and I don’t fail to go ROI positive by it. People truly do respond well to limited time offers. Reselling Digital Music
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the capability to let your Readers sign up as an affiliate of your store, and you are able to grant them a commission of whatever percentage you would like, if someone buys a product using their custom affiliate link.
This is useful because it allows other people To market your products for you, the commissions paid will be well worth it, and should they have a stage and an audience of their own that they can tap to.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You will be if you are into advertising Able to readily integrate Payhip along with your email marketing supplier so that whenever a sale is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added to a list.
That is relatively minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a mention — if you desire, you can have Payhip stamp the buyer’s email address to the top left corner of every page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone plans to Purchase Your PDF Book make it publicly accessible for free somewhere else, they will have to be fine with their email address being accessible. I believe that is a creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Sorts of Files
Payhip is not Only a market for ebooks — It’s possible to upload any sort of file. Font documents, video/audio documents, photographs, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your site looks. People don’t trust websites which look obsolete, myself included. If a site looks like it hasn’t been updated because the net 2.0 times, then I start to wonder if perhaps I am in an abandoned construction and placing my payment info into it would pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That is not true with Payhip though. The Website has a very modern and simple layout. This is exactly what you would anticipate a checkout page by a trustworthy business to appear like In the event that you should buy a digital merchandise on the internet. Reselling Digital Music
Another thing that I like about Payhip is its own Overall simplicity. In the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip stays out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and only the critical information (such as price.) They do nothing to interfere with your sale — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Eventually, what I actually enjoy about Payhip is That customer payment info isn’t stored by them, meaning that your clients’ payment details are safe. The payment is managed through PayPal or Stripe, and I prefer it that way as they are successful companies with lots of cash.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me around Payhip is that They do not have a mobile app. It would be convenient to be able to start an app while I am out and around and take a look. You do so and can log into the site, but the website isn’t even optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but that is a very Bad look in 2018. There’s no reason you should not have a website optimized for cellular, and when you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself into it’s own app so users don’t need to manually sign in every time they want to check sales data. Users of Payhip experience a platform when they’re on their devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons At Checkout
On the checkout page, I would like to see an capability to suggest Other products similar to what the customer is about to buy. For example, if they are buying a package of templates for $5, then I propose some other similar product that could interest them that they didn’t know about, or could provide a bundle of business card templates for a couple of added bucks. This is something which websites like VistaPrint and Amazon do.
I can not help but feel like there’s a Great Deal of money being left on the Table — for myself and Payhip — with no functionality. This could enhance the Payhip encounter for both the client and the vendor.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I had still Like to see it corrected.
Since Payhip is located at London, they’ve The timezone for the site set to BST. Since I’m located in the EST, I will sometimes check my stats at 7PM or afterwards and see that I made 0 earnings for the day since Payhip believes it’s midnight and its data reveals that.
Again, this is a non-issue, however I Would love to observe the ability to adjust the website to your timezone. Reselling Digital Music
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It’s not quite perfect yet, although Code attribute earlier.
As it currently stands, the advertising You can run via a voucher code. Ideally, I’d love to be able to offer a dollar amount to set a sale price that is specified.
Right Now, if I want to put a $27 product On sale for $10, manually do the math to determine what percentage off would render the cost at $10 and I have to break out the calculator. I think that is unnecessary and could be made better.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you also have access to advanced alternatives which include —
- Make your product personal.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Publish sample pages or a preview.
- Insert a limitation amount sold.
- Generate a license key that is exceptional .
How much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you to establish or host your products. The website takes only 5 percent commission per transaction fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2+ years as a seller on Payhip, would you recommend it? Total, yes. I am very much a satisfied customer, but whether you ought to use it depends upon your own situation.
If you’re a blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ per month for something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. But if you know that you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales every month and sell a product that is high-ticket or have a massive audience, you might want to look into something.
As of this date of the writing, Payhip works On a flat fee of 5 percent of every sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 a month.
If you’re going to be promoting $1,000 per month in total quantity, the math should (typically ) prefer Payhip. But if you are selling well into the thousands, you are probably going to want to decide on Gumroad or look into another choice. This is dependent on how many transactions it requires to reach those sales numbers so be certain that you crunch the numbers.
Personally, I absolutely love the Payhip Experience and am really thankful for their services. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. Reselling Digital Music
