Introduction Sell Digital Products Facebook
Of all the ways of monetizing Articles, my Strategy is To make and sell digital products like studying materials and design templates. I’ve found that it’s extraordinarily profitable than running ads from networks like AdSense, and products convert at a much higher rate than an affiliate product that someone else created. The service I use to ease this is Payhip, and this article I’ll be sharing what I like and dislike about the service based on my Payhip expertise as a vendor for 2+ years. My Payhip Expertise
If you wanted to market products Through your own website, you are going to want a means to facilitate trades — some sort of infrastructure which will enable a client to select your goods, pay for it, and have it instantaneously delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.
Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that gives users with solutions and the simplest tools for hosting and selling products straight to their clients online.
The company Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is now based in my capital city of London.
Which are the benefits of using Payhip?
Each online Platform differs, and I’ve used a couple of these in the past.
Having A platform that is so easy to use and one that doesn’t require a massive amount of my time that is precious is of paramount significance.
Payhip will Save a lot of time because everything is taken care of on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip include –
- EU VAT is taken care of, which can be a huge plus in my book.
- Affordable. The site takes zero fees asides From 5% per trade when you sell a product that is digital.

What I Like About Payhip
Let’s get to the information. Following my 2+ year Payhip expertise, here’s what I love about the ceremony…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card using Stripe, plus they do not pay out monthly/weekly/quarterly or make you wait for them to clear some sort of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the cash is instantly available on your account, and if you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe apps installed on your mobile device, you are going to get notifications whenever a sale occurs. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a new sale never gets older. It’s also great to awake in the morning, reach to your telephone, and also see that you made X number of dollars while you were sleeping, and it is all readily available for you to spend. The caveat to this can be Stripe. If your customers pays by card with Stripe, there will be a three day hold before the cash is available. This is Stripe though — Payhip doesn’t hold your cash in any way.
No Monthly Charges
Among the things that Payhip originally sold me is that there is no Monthly fees or installation charges — only a simple flat charge of 5 percent per purchase .
This was appealing to me Because, at the moment, my readership was less than 1/10th of what it is now, and that I wasn’t positive I was likely to always sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee to get a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a small crowd, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best match my situation.
Simple To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end Provides an analytics page That lets you see transactions and earnings quantities relative to the day, week, month, year, or some other specified range. On top of that, it is a very simple and to-the-point report.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of data you’re immediately smacked in the face with can be somewhat overwhelming, and lots of it’s mostly useless too. Payhip just gives you exactly what you are there to see — sales data. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip encounter is By creating coupon codes promotions to run.
The codes may be Enjoy and for any (or all) products. They could run for any length you’d like (or even indefinitely,) and the code itself can even be customized to whatever string of text you would like.
I have found this to be helpful. Occasionally I will run a weekend promotion, place it on Facebook, then raise the post targeting a pixel audience that is re-marketing and I don’t fail to go ROI positive with it. People truly do respond to limited time offers. Sell Digital Products Facebook
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the ability to let your Readers register as an affiliate of your store, and you are able to grant someone purchases a product using their custom affiliate link.
This is useful because it allows other Men and Women To market your merchandise the commissions paid will be worthwhile and should they have a platform and an audience of their own they can tap to.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
If you are into advertising, you’ll be Able to integrate Payhip with your email advertising supplier so that if a purchase is made, the email address of the purchaser could be added into a chosen listing.
That is relatively minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I want to give it a reference — if you desire, you can have Payhip postage the buyer’s email address into the upper left corner of each page of a PDF document they’ve purchased.
So if someone plans to buy your PDF Book make it accessible for free somewhere else, they’ll need to be fine with their private email address being publicly available as well. I think that is a way of deterring pirating.
Upload Many Kinds of Files
Payhip is a marketplace for ebooks — It’s possible to upload any sort of electronic file. Font files, video/audio files, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
One thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your site looks. Individuals generally don’t trust sites which appear obsolete, myself included. If a website looks like it hasn’t been updated because the web 2.0 times, then I start to wonder if maybe I’m in an abandoned construction and putting my payment info into it would pretty much be just like throwing my money into a black hole.
That is not true with Payhip though. The Site has a design that is very contemporary and easy. This is exactly what you would anticipate a checkout page by a trusted company to look like, if you were to purchase a merchandise on the internet. Sell Digital Products Facebook
Another thing I enjoy about Payhip is its own Overall simplicity. In the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and only the crucial information (such as price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your purchase — no self-promotion whatsoever.
Finally, what I really like about Payhip is That they don’t store customer payment info, meaning your clients’ payment details are secure. The payment is completely managed through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it this way because they are large, successful companies with lots of cash to spend on top-shelf security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the service and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
One thing that bugs me around Payhip is that They don’t have a mobile program. It’d be convenient to be able to open an app while I am out and around, and have a look during my sales data. You do so and may log in to the site, but the site is optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but this is a very Lousy appearance in 2018. There is no reason you should not have a website optimized for cellular, and when you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself into it’s own program so users do not have to manually sign in every time they want to check sales information. Permit users of Payhip encounter a better platform when they’re on their cellular devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I would really like to see an capability that is added to suggest Other products similar to what the client is about to purchase. For example, if they’re purchasing a bundle of templates for $5, I could offer a bundle of business card templates to get a couple of dollars, or propose some other similar product which may interest them that they didn’t know about. This is something that websites like VistaPrint and Amazon do well.
I can not help but feel as though there’s a lot of money being left on the Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no operation. This may enhance the Payhip experience for both the seller and the client.
Set On A Fixed Timezone
This one is mostly frivolous, but I Like to see it fixed.
Since Payhip is located at London, they have BST was set to by The functioning timezone for the entire website. Since I’m found in the EST, I’ll sometimes check my stats at 7PM or afterwards and see that I made 0 earnings for the day since Payhip believes it is midnight and its information reflects that.
This is a non-issue, but I Would like to see that the capability to adjust the site to your timezone. Sell Digital Products Facebook
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the coupon It is not perfect, although Code attribute earlier.
As it currently stands, the only advertising You can run through a coupon code. Ideally, I’d love to have the ability to supply a dollar amount to set a predetermined sale price.
Right Now, if I want to put a merchandise that is $27 On sale for $10, I must break out the calculator and manually do the math to determine what percentage off would leave the cost. I think that is unnecessary and may be made better.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you also have access to innovative alternatives including —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Add an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) to your eBook.
- Publish a sample or preview pages.
- Insert a limitation number sold.
- Generate a unique license key for all your product/eBook revenue.
Just how much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing or host your digital products. The website takes just 5% commission per transaction fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2years as a vendor on Payhip, would you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am a client, but whether you ought to use it depends upon your situation.
If you are a blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ per month for something such as Gumroad, then yes, I would absolutely recommend Payhip. In case you know that you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month and sell a product that is high-ticket or have a massive audience, you may want to look into something most cost effective.
As of this date of this writing, Payhip functions On a set fee of 5 percent of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you’re going to be promoting $1,000 a month in total quantity, the math should (typically ) prefer Payhip. But if you are selling into the thousands, you need to decide on Gumroad or start looking into another alternative. That is largely dependent on the number of transactions it takes to achieve those sales numbers so make sure that you crunch the numbers for yourself.
Personally, I absolutely love the Payhip Experience and am grateful for their services. I want to see them continue to grow and succeed. Sell Digital Products Facebook
