Background Websites Like Payhip
Of all the ways of Creating Articles that is blog, my Strategy is To make and sell products such as learning materials and design templates. I’ve found that it’s extraordinarily rewarding than running ads from networks such as AdSense, and self explanatory products convert at a much greater speed than an affiliate product that someone else created. The service I use to ease this can be Payhip, and in this post I will be discussing what I both like and dislike about the service based in my Payhip expertise as a seller for two + years. If you wanted to market digital products Through your own website, you are going to need a means to facilitate transactions — some kind of infrastructure which will enable a client to select your product, cover it, and also have it immediately delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this issue.

Payhip is An e-commerce platform/website that provides users with solutions and the easiest tools for hosting and promoting products directly to their customers online.
The company Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
Which are the benefits of utilizing Payhip?
Each online Platform is different, and I’ve used a few of these previously.
For me personally, having A stage that is simple to use and one that does not take a huge amount of my precious time is of utmost significance.
Payhip will Save a lot of time also because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let us get to the details. Following my 2+ year Payhip experience, Here Is What I really like about the ceremony…
Payments Are Instantaneous
Payhip let’s your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card using Stripe, plus they don’t cover monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait for them to clear some kind of holding period. When a client makes a purchase, the money is immediately available in your accounts, and if you have the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you’ll receive notifications whenever a sale occurs. I happen to love this. The excitement of Seeing a sale that is new never gets old. In addition, it is good to wake up in the morning, reach to your telephone, and see you made X amount of dollars while you’re sleeping, and it’s all readily available for you to spend. The caveat to this can be Stripe. If your customers card using Stripe, there will be a 3 day hold until the money is available. That is all Stripe though — Payhip doesn’t hold your money in any way.
No Monthly Fees
One of those things that Payhip originally sold me on is that there is no Monthly charges or setup charges — just a simple flat charge of 5 percent per purchase .
This was attractive to me back Because, at the time, my readership was 1/10th of what it’s now, and that I was not positive I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee for a similar service like Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger with a little crowd, Payhip was the quickest solution that best match my situation.
Simple To Know Analytics
Payhip’s back end offers an page That lets you see transactions and earnings amounts relative to this day, month, week, year, or any other given range. Best of all, it is a very simple and to-the-point report.
If you used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are instantly smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and a lot of it’s mostly useless also. Payhip just gives you what you’re there to view — sales information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip experience is By creating coupon codes promotions to run.
The codes may be for any percentage you’d Like and for any (or all) products. They could run for any duration you want (or even permanently,) along with the code itself can even be customized to whatever string of text you would like.
I have found this to be useful. Occasionally I will run a weekend promotion, post it on Facebook raise the post targeting a pixel re-marketing audience and I don’t fail to go ROI positive by it. People really do respond well to limited time offers. Websites Like Payhip
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip gives you the ability Readers sign up as an affiliate of your store, and you are able to award them a commission of whatever percent you would like, whenever someone buys a product with their customized affiliate link.
This is useful since it allows Men and Women To market your products the commissions paid will be well worth it and should they have an audience of their own and a stage they can tap into.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
If you’re into email marketing, you’ll be Able to incorporate Payhip along with your email advertising supplier that is chosen so that a sale is made, the buyer’s email address can be added to a listing.
This is minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a mention — if you so desire, you’ll have Payhip postage the purchaser’s email address to the top left corner of each page of a PDF document they have bought.
So if someone intends to Purchase Your PDF Book make it available for free somewhere else, they will need to be okay with their personal email address being accessible also. I believe that is a very creative way of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Sorts of Files
Payhip is a market for ebooks — It’s possible to upload any sort of file. Font files, video/audio documents, photos, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
1 thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is the way present your website looks. People do not trust sites which look obsolete, myself included. If a site looks like it has not been upgraded since the net 2.0 days, I begin to wonder if perhaps I am in an abandoned building and putting my payment information into it would pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That is not the case with Payhip though. The Website has a very contemporary and easy layout. This is what you’d anticipate a checkout page from a business to appear like if you were to buy a product on the world wide web. Websites Like Payhip
Another thing I enjoy about Payhip is its Overall simplicity. From the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your images, sales copy, and just the crucial information (like price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your purchase — no.
Finally, what I really enjoy about Payhip is That they don’t store customer payment info, meaning your customers’ payment details are safe. The payment is handled through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it that way because they’re large companies with a lot of money.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I enjoy Payhip, it is far from perfect. Here are some things that I dislike about the service and would like to see improved…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They don’t possess a mobile app. It would be convenient to be able to start an app while I’m out and about and take a look. The site is optimized for mobile devices, although you can log into the website and do so.
I enjoy Payhip, but this is a really Lousy appearance in 2018. There’s no reason you should not have a site optimized for cellular, and once you’ve got that, you ought to be able to easily turn the website itself into it’s own app so users don’t have to manually register in each time they would like to inspect sales data. Users of Payhip experience a much better platform when they are on their cellular devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I would really like to see an ability that is Extra to suggest Other products. For example, if they are buying a package of templates for $5, I propose some other product which may interest them that they didn’t know about, or could provide a bundle of business card templates to get a couple of dollars. This is something which sites like Amazon and VistaPrint do.
I can’t help but feel as though there is a Great Deal of money being left on the Table — for both myself and Payhip — with no operation. This could enhance the Payhip experience for both the seller and the customer.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is largely frivolous, but I Prefer to see it corrected.
Considering that Payhip is located in London, they have The timezone for the entire site place to BST. Since I am found in the EST, I will occasionally check my stats at 7PM or later and see that I made 0 earnings for the day since Payhip thinks it’s midnight and its own data reflects that.
Again, this is a non-issue, but I Would like to see that the ability to adjust the website to your timezone. Websites Like Payhip
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It is not quite perfect, although Code attribute earlier.
As it stands, the sole promotion You can run through a coupon code. Ideally, I’d love to be able to offer a dollar amount to set a sale price that is predetermined.
At the moment, if I want to put a merchandise that is $27 On sale for $10, manually do the math to determine what percent off would leave the price at $10 and I have to break out the calculator. I think this is unnecessary and may be improved.
When creating A new product in Payhip, you have access to advanced options including —
- Make your merchandise private.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Upload a few sample or preview pages.
- Add a limitation number sold.
- Generate a unique license key .
How much does it cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing to set up or even host your digital products. The site takes only 5 percent commission per transaction fee.
Would I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after 2+ years as a seller on Payhip, would you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am very much a client, but whether or not you ought to use it depends on your situation.
If you are a new blogger with a small audience And you can’t justify spending $10+ a month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. In case you have a huge audience or market a product and know you’ll be doing at least $1,000 in sales each month, you might want to look into something most cost effective.
As of the date of the writing, Payhip functions On a set fee of 5 percent of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is now 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you’re going to be selling less than $1,000 per month in total quantity, the mathematics should (typically ) prefer Payhip. But if you are selling into the thousands, you are probably going to want to go with Gumroad or look into another alternative. That is largely dependent on the number of transactions it requires to achieve those sales numbers, however, so be sure to crunch the numbers.
Personally, I love the Payhip Experience and am really grateful for their solutions. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. Websites Like Payhip
