Introduction Will At&T Sell Digital Life
Of all the ways of Creating content, my Strategy is To create and sell products such as studying design templates and materials. I have discovered that it is extraordinarily more rewarding than running advertisements from networks such as AdSense, and products convert at a significantly higher rate compared to an affiliate product that someone else created. The support I use to ease this can be Payhip, and in this post I will be discussing what I both like and dislike about the ceremony based in my Payhip experience as a seller for 2+ years. My Payhip Expertise
If you wanted to sell products Through your own site, you’ll need a way to facilitate trades — some sort of infrastructure which will enable a customer to select your product, cover it, and have it instantaneously delivered to them with whole hands-off automation. Payhip solves this problem.
Payhip is An that gives users with options and the simplest tools for hosting and selling electronic products directly to their customers online.
The Provider Was co-founded by Abs Farah and Kahin Farah and is currently based in my capital city of London.
What are the advantages of using Payhip?
Each online Platform differs, and I’ve used a few of them previously.
Having A stage that is simple to use and one that doesn’t take a huge amount of my time that is valuable is of utmost importance.
Payhip will Save a great deal of time too because everything is cared for on the Payhip platform.
The Benefits that I’ve gained the most from using Payhip include –
- EU VAT is cared for, and it can be a big plus in my book.
- Affordable. The website takes zero fees asides From 5% per trade when you sell a item.

What I Enjoy About Payhip
Let us get to the information. After my 2 year Payhip experience, here’s what I love about the service…
Upgrades Are Instantaneous
Payhip let us your customers pay with PayPal Or by credit/debit card using Stripe, and they don’t cover monthly/weekly/quarterly or force you to wait for them to clear some sort of holding period. When a customer makes a purchase, the money is instantly available in your accounts, and if you’ve got the PayPal and also Stripe programs installed on your mobile device, you’ll get notifications whenever a sale occurs. I happen to appreciate this. The excitement of Seeing a new sale never gets old. In addition, it is good to wake up in the morning, reach to your phone, and also see you made X number of dollars while you were sleeping, and it’s all easily available for you to spend. The only caveat to this is Stripe. If your clients pays by card using Stripe, there’ll be a 3 day hold until the cash is available. That is Stripe though — Payhip doesn’t hold your cash at all.
No Monthly Charges
Among those things that Payhip initially sold me is that there’s no Monthly charges or installation charges — only a simple flat fee of 5 percent per sale.
This was appealing to me back in 2016 Since, at the moment, my readership was 1/10th of what it is now, and I wasn’t positive that I was going to consistently sell enough product to justify paying a monthly fee to get a similar service such as Gumroad. As a relatively new blogger having a small audience, Payhip was the no-risk solution that best fit my situation.
Easy To Understand Analytics
Payhip’s back end offers an page That lets you see transactions and earnings quantities relative to this day, week, month, year, or any other given range. Best of all, it’s a report that is to-the-point and really straightforward.
If you’ve ever used Google Analytics or Facebook analytics, the number of information you are immediately smacked in the face can be a bit overwhelming, and a lot of it is largely useless also. Payhip just provides you what you are there to see — revenue information. Nothing more, nothing less.
Run Promotions with Coupon Codes
Another advantage users of Payhip encounter is Promotions to run by producing coupon codes.
The codes can be for any percentage you would Like and for any (or all) products. They could run for any length you want (or even indefinitely,) and the code itself may even be customized to whatever string of text you desire.
I have found this to be useful. Occasionally I will conduct a weekend marketing, place it on Facebook raise the article targeting a pixel audience and I never fail to go ROI positive by it. People really do respond to limited time offers. Will At&T Sell Digital Life
Your Own Affiliate Program
Payhip Provides you the ability Readers sign up as an affiliate of your shop, and if someone purchases a product you are able to award them a commission of whatever percentage you’d like.
This is useful because it allows Men and Women To market your merchandise for you, the commissions paid will be worth it and should they have an audience of their own and a platform they can tap into.
Easy Integration with Email Marketing
You will be if you are into email marketing Able to incorporate Payhip with your email marketing provider so that if a purchase is made, the email address of the purchaser can be added to a list that is selected.
This is relatively minor but I think it’s Pretty cool so I wish to give it a reference — if you desire, you can have Payhip postage the buyer’s email address to the top left corner of every page of a PDF document they have purchased.
So if someone plans to Purchase Your PDF Publication subsequently make it publicly accessible for free somewhere else, they’ll have to be okay with their private email address being available also. I think that’s a way of deterring pirating.
Upload Most Sorts of Files
Payhip isn’t Only a market for ebooks — You can upload virtually any kind of file. Font files, video/audio documents, photographs, software, etc..
Overall Simplicity and Modern Design
One thing that can not be overlooked whenever You are selling something is your website appears. People don’t trust sites that appear obsolete, myself included. If a site looks like it has not been updated since the net 2.0 times, then I begin to wonder if maybe I am in an abandoned building and putting my payment info into it’d pretty much be like throwing my money into a black hole.
That’s not the case with Payhip though. The Website has a very contemporary and easy layout. This is exactly what you would anticipate a checkout page by a trustworthy business, if you were to buy a digital merchandise on the internet. Will At&T Sell Digital Life
Another thing that I like about Payhip is its Overall simplicity. In the a visitor lands on your product page, Payhip remains out of the way. They display your graphics, sales copy, and only the critical info (like price.) They do absolutely nothing to interfere with your sale — no.
Eventually, what I like about Payhip is That they don’t store customer payment info, meaning your clients’ payment details are safe. The payment is completely handled through Stripe or PayPal, and I prefer it this way because they are successful companies with a lot of cash to invest on security.
What I Dislike About Payhip
As much as I like Payhip, it’s far from perfect. Here are some items that I dislike about the ceremony and would like to see enhanced…
No Mobile App
1 thing that bugs me about Payhip is that They don’t possess a app. It would be convenient to be able to start an app and have a look while I’m out and about. You may log into the website and do this, but the website isn’t optimized for mobile devices.
I like Payhip, but that is a really Lousy appearance in 2018. There is no reason you should not have a website optimized for mobile, and when you’ve got that, you should be able to easily turn the site itself right into it’s own app so users don’t have to manually register in every time they would like to check sales data. Users of Payhip encounter a platform when they’re on their mobile devices.
No Upsells or Add-Ons In Checkout
On the checkout page, I would really like to see an ability to suggest Other products similar to what the customer is about to purchase. By way of example, if they are buying a bundle of logo templates for $5, I could provide a bundle of business card templates or propose some other similar product that could interest them that they didn’t know about. This is something which websites like Amazon and VistaPrint do quite well.
I can not help but feel as though there’s a lot of money being left on the Table — for myself and Payhip — with no functionality. This could improve the Payhip encounter for both the vendor and the client.
Establish On A Fixed Timezone
This one is mostly frivolous, but I Like to see it corrected.
Since Payhip is located at London, they have BST was set to by the timezone for the whole site. Since I’m located in the EST, I will sometimes check my analytics at 7PM or later and see that I made 0 sales for the day because Payhip thinks it’s midnight and its own data reveals that.
This is a non-issue, but I Would like to see that the capability to adjust the website to your timezone. Will At&T Sell Digital Life
More Flexibility with Coupon Codes
I know I raved about the voucher It is not quite perfect yet, although Code attribute earlier.
As it now stands, the only promotion You can run through a coupon code. Ideally, I’d like to have the ability to offer a dollar amount to set a predetermined sale price.
At the moment, if I Need to put a merchandise Available for $10, manually do the math to figure out what percent off would render the final cost and I must break out the calculator. I believe this is unnecessary and may be improved.
When creating A brand new product in Payhip, you also have access to innovative alternatives which include —
- Make your product personal.
- Insert an ISBN (Internation Standard Book Number) for your eBook.
- Publish a preview or sample pages.
- To the number of copies of your product or market could be, Insert a limitation amount sold.
- Create a exceptional license key .
Just how much does this cost?
Payhip will Cost you nothing to set up or even host your products. The site takes only 5% commission per trade fee.
Can I Recommend Payhip?
This leaves us with the burning question: after two years as a seller on Payhip, do you recommend it? Overall, yes. I am very much a client, but whether or not you should use it depends upon your situation.
If you are a new blogger with a small audience And you can not justify spending $10+ per month to get something like Gumroad, then yes, I would recommend Payhip. But in case you sell a merchandise that is high-ticket or have a huge audience and know that you’ll do at least $ 1,000 in sales each month, you might want to check into something.
As of the date of this writing, Payhip works On a set fee of 5 percent of each sale. Gumroad’s fee is currently 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction + $10 per month.
If you are going to be promoting less than $1,000 per month in total volume, the math should (typically ) prefer Payhip. But if you are selling well into the thousands, you need to decide on Gumroad or look into some choice. This is mostly dependent on how many transactions it requires to achieve those sales numbers so be sure to crunch the numbers.
Personally, I love the Payhip Experience and am very thankful for their services. I would like to see them continue to grow and succeed. Will At&T Sell Digital Life
